What time did you open your presents?

08.10 for myself

1030 ish

About 9.30 for the first 'round' at home, then drove to my parents and opened gifts with them about 12ish.

The first gifts were opened at 06.45 am, but there are still some gifts waiting to be opened. We open a few then have a break.

Did you watch The Wheel earlier OP? 😂They were saying that the later you opened your Christmas presents the more middle class you were.

Stockings at 9.30 when the teenager woke up. Tree gifts at 1pm, before lunch (at 3pm). Just finished main Christmas meal. We're abroad.

Lol, makes sense! Opened ours about 740am.

Teens appeared at 7 30 with stockings plus tea and coffee (we have them well trained)

Breakfast at 9, then presents around 9.30.

We have opened 3 each (socks, chocs, beers). Will open some more each day until none left (total 12 each, 8 of them very small, 4 of them bigger but all fairly modest this year as had 18th & 21st birthdays too. We've always done it this way by choice as ASD & it's nice to take our time over all things Xmas.

Stockings at 7am with the kids, then main tree presents around midday when DM, stepdad and MIL arrived.

Stockings at 10, main presents at 1. Ate at 4. It’s been a lovely day 🥰

Me and dp, we started at 8:30am. Then ds1 opened his at 10am and ds2 11:30am. We do. Stockings then straight into presents.

DH and j opened ours about 7.30pm. Kids at 8.30am.

About midday. Three adults, one near adult. Dinner around 5pm. A very chilled day

Stockings were 8am, other presents over the course of the morning and early afternoon. All done by 1.30.

Because it worked better for my family we had our ‘Christmas Day’ yesterday . Husband single handedly cooked the entire Christmas dinner as I have gone down with an atrocious cold. He did an amazing job, dinner was delicious. We ate in the evening, some of us were working during the day.
We opened presents about 9 or
10pm wasn’t keeping an eye on the clock. I guess I can live with not being middle class according to Michael McIntyre 🤣

About an hour ago, 8.30pm ish.
DS was working until 6, although they did let him go early, but we had dinner timed for 6.30.

DS adult and DH around 11. Busy prepping for lunch vef then. Guests arrived so about 1 30 for their gifts

First round 7am, next round about 9am then a round at 12 and final round at 2.

ND household - find that only doing a couple at a time helps reduce overwhelm/overstimulation
