What time did you open your presents?

I chose an Advent Calender as a Christmas gift and opened all the doors on Christmas Day, that was fun.

Boxing Day. Christmas Day was a rush to get up, have breakfast and go round to the in-laws' for lunch.

Still opening ...
A dozen gifts each, including socks, chocs, peanuts etc so only 4 bigger ones (& then not 'big ticket' items, but books, phone cases, games, plushies etc - all quite low key)
This is at the request of my Autistic older teens. It does drive me a bit scatty (I'm on a low income & some of those- niche therefore expensive to me - items are now on sale!) but they like 'a pile of gifts on Xmas morning'. It works for them (& me as my two bars of special of chocolate can now be joined by the things they've remembered- its- Christmas-&-want-to-order-Mum-a-thoughtful-something whilst we all still unwrap over the 12 days, some days nothing, some days 2 thing) 🙂

We were in a hotel, but spending the day with relatives - 2 lots of kids, 7 in total!

They’d had their ‘stockings’ aka bulging sacks, so had to wait until after breakfast and a short walk (also for the dog) before being allowed to dive into the vast heaps around the tree. So it was probably 12 ish.
