Best Yule Log this Year

Has anyone taste tested either; Cook, M&S or Waitrose - or can recommend another one??
It is for Christmas Day desert for those that don’t like Christmas pudding

M&S best ever yule log was the best ever yule log. I'd happily eat another right now!

Me too - if they have any left we might do just that!

We finally had the fresh m and s one 15 quid. It was very nice but not the fresh creme experience i was hoping for.

I'm not going to stress about getting it

I made one from Mary Berry's recipe. It was really easy and far nicer than anything I have ever bought in a shop. It lasted about 10 minutes!

Went to M&S yesterday (27th) and got some half price chocs , Christmas cake & Christmas Colin but no logs left unfortunately! Did anyone manage to bag a bargain one? I will definitely get it early next year!

Went to two branches yesterday, a big food hall which had none of the luxury logs and a smaller food only which had two, reduced to £7 each. I didn’t fancy one again but I bought some half price stollen slices (M&S do the best stollen).

I finally got the log but it must have been fresh stock as it wasn't reduced! Looking forward to servng it tonight for nye 😋 Saw the stollen reduced Berlin, enjoy!

reduced waitrose, very disappointing, far too sweet for me

I bought the Tesco fancy one. It was really dry. I was so embarrassed by how stale it tasted straight out of the box. It felt like I was feeding guests one I’d had for a year!

Omg I am tempted to go looking for another M&S log after tasting it last night. It was a complete hit. Honestly no other logs could come close to this. If only they did it all year round 😋

I've been to M&S food more than once since Christmas just to look for it but no luck

This may be a silly question Emma but did you look in the right place? I had first checked in the cake area but it was in the refrigerated part.
