Welcome to Christmas 2025!

This post is a work in process and if you have any links you’d like to share or would be good to add then please do let me know. Just received my anthro order. In a rubbish box though - I’ll have to repackage to gift it. I thought it was a fancy shop? Not complaining though, just wanted the receiver to know it was from there tbh.

I need to find a gift for the couple who have everything. Early 60s, like naice food and wine, travel and generally expensive things. I thought about an Alessi bottle opener but they probably have one already.
Budget around £50.
Previous years I've given them a fancy LBV port, Neom room spray, English Sparkling.
I'd be grateful for any suggestions, particularly bargainous ones

What about the M&S Italian food and drink hamper? It is £60 but dm has gifted it in the past and recipients have loved it. You could buy via TCB or Quidco and if you or someone close has BLC you could buy M&S vouchers to pay for it.

My Anthropologie pjs never showed up and they are refunding. Customer service pretty good. It's EVRI that have done for me this year. For the person trying to get levi to work, they cancelled the socks I ordered so maybe they are on to us...

I have an unusual request. Nephew would like a large Bob Ross poster or canvas print.

The only ones I can find are either dodgy Amazon sellers with no reviews and delivery dates after Christmas, or Displate metal prints. Any ideas oh wise ones?

My anthropologie order has also been cancelled, I ordered on Wednesday, even had a notification that Evri were expecting it.
Quite disappointing, especially when the cancellation was followed by yet another marketing email.

One DS had sent a link for a shirt he liked about two weeks ago and I'd suggested it to other DS. Not being organised he hadn't done anything about it. Just noticed it had £10 off so ordered it for him to collect. Brilliant saving!

My daughter and niece both love the tiny treasures dolls from argos. They're a little heavier than most dolls so more lifelike and have lovely faces and a nice smell to them! Theres a few different ones and some seem to be reduced. Just double check descriptions as some listings are only for the outfits, not doll

Also another request, and that is a as waterproof as possible shoulder bag for DD similar in size and “aesthetic “ (young person speak for look, apparently) to the Radley Pocket Essential (now discontinued in style she likes and she’s using mine right now and loves it but it’s not coping well with rainy walks to college). Looks like this -

We have looked at Rains which I think look good but apparently not stylish enough 🙄

She’s not a fan of Longchamp but I’m guessing they aren’t much more waterproof than Radley anyway

I’ve left it really last minute, hoping I’d get a good deal on Cyber Monday but I didn’t find anything barginious.
