Non-Beauty Advent Calendar Opening Thread

Not sure if there's already a thread somewhere and I am just blind but for the first time ever, I have a slightly posh calendar.

Now, will admit it's just the Twinings Tea one (which I may have won as part off the November Postcode Lottery) but I'm really excited and wondered if those of us with non-beauty calendars might like to share our bounty?

I will continue to lurk on the other threads as they are strangely compelling to me but would also love some company as I drink my way through the 24 days of Advent!

Lots to drink there, @AlPaccacino - I've been drinking mine mostly on the day I open it but I only have one teabag and no social life 😁

Today I have Calm, which might be required by this evening as I am Mum Taxi today despite still being at work.. I'm hoping traffic across the city will have calmed somewhat given a lot of people have been lucky enough to start their holidays earlier - and no schools!! Sounds pleasant enough but am expecting big things from the last couple of doors!!

Ugh - turmeric tea is not for me.. the delicious spice is a sort of wishy washy aftertaste and I either want it to be full of flavour or not there at all ☹️

As tasty as it will be, I had higher hopes for today! Ah well - Sleep, which I do need and this will help with, but slight damp squib for Xmas Eve!

Thank you all for sharing Advent with me - I definitely have the 'fancy calendar' bug now so will be investing next year! What in, well - who knows as there is something out there for everyone! Unlikely to be beauty though so maybe see some of you here next year! Merry Christmas everyone 😘

We had a picture one, and despite both DC also having a Smiggle advent calendar they have been super excited about the pictures inside the old fashion one

Oh I enjoyed the Degusta one! And will use it all except maybe the water vitamin drops. But I've never done a food one before so maybe I'm easily pleased! 😊

I've been away for a few days so have only just opened the last 2 candles. Happy New Year everyone.

I’ve just opened and collapsed our Degusta calendar after being away. Very disappointed with the last one but on the whole the family enjoyed opening. I wouldn’t get every year though.
