I’m absolutely out of ideas this year. He is 57. For once I’m completely stuck. I’m looking for inspiration.

What's the thing for the ridiculously expensive coffee machine he's ordered himself?

Mine has treated himself to a ridiculously expensive coffee machine too! He's well stocked in coffee beans, I thought maybe a course in latte art but nowhere local does any, so I'm stumped.

Yeah - I have craft kits where I still haven’t done them!

I did buy an experience with birds of prey which the recipient loved (but that wasn’t my partner, and he wouldn’t have loved it!)

He likes anything merino wool! I've gotten him the Danish Endurance brand this time.

I’m getting my partner, who is also 57, a Kindle Paperwhite.

He's going on holiday with a friend, I paid for the flights. As a surprise on the day he's getting a record.

Thanks you reminded me that DH bag has holes in the corners and he needs a new one. Present sorted :)

A drill, circular saw, impact driver and electric saw. And a bus pass to take him directly to a&e

I usually go for books, socks, underwear and whisky.

But this year I have also bought a small desk lamp from Serious Readers.

Omg good ness thats awfull my husband literally rubbished my gifts said he bought quite good gifts and he didnt get same so i bought peter kay book jumper a murder mystery game and some bathroom stuff lynx ok not great gifts but i didnt feel in mood with xmas especially when they dont help you with the kids .xmas shopping either

I got him a leather wallet from Billy Tannery, nice pants and nice chocolate. Not lots of stuff but good quality!
