Decided to combine both thread title suggestions :)

Thanks @RainbowZebraWarrior for helping me out and I'm so excited that I was on my computer and she tagged me so I could set this one up - hurrah!

Feeling super festive today after getting the decorations up and visiting Father Christmas. Exciting news is the Christmas bedding and jumpers are all down from the loft and being washed, so I'll soon be able to walk around in my 'I [heart] Christmas' jumper

As we move towards actual Black Friday (does that even exist any more?) the threads tend to move very quickly. It can be helpful to post your bargain in bold. This can be done by adding an asterxix either side of a word with no gap in between. So Levi's would be Levi's

Did anyone order the football tops from a previous thread? I’m having a moment and know I ordered 2 but now I can’t find an email or remember the name of the company 🤦‍♀️

We got Gator Golf at that age, but its just a game and the 'hole' is the gator! But my LB loves it!

The good news:
The bargain cheese calendar has arrived!

The bad news:
DH didn’t tell me it had come and left it out for 2.5 hours.

It SEEMS ok. Have just eaten Day One as an experiment so we shall see…😹

Day Two was nice.

That was me! Mine has arrived and is hiding in the cupboard - looks great so far. Box is v heavy though!

Hi @bizzey - I will post a picture of tomorrow’s offering tomorrow. Day one was a small round cheese in wax - it was about 2” by 1” at a wild guess. (I can measure tomorrow.)

It was just about enough for me to have two teeny tiny pieces and for DH to put the rest on one half of a piece of bread, (but tbf he did cut the cheese quite thickly.)

Day two was the tiniest jar of chutney ever seen but it tasted lovely!

I think you could use the cheese for a buffet but it would depend on how thinly you cut each piece and how many people were eating. You could easily wolf down a few each, assuming you were a cheese fan!

I am finding the whole concept of trying random cheeses very exciting! (Today’s cheese was definitely interesting!)

@zacsGranny - are you thinking of the FB site called something like little blue cup? If so, I think they specialise in finding items for children - it started because someone’s child would/could only drink out of a certain cup and then it got discontinued. The site helps find things like that for kids. I don’t know if they look for other things - someone on here will know.

Or is it a different site you’re thinking of? It sounds like a good idea!

This is £50 for a second hand one. But I have at least resigned to coping with a second hand one, knowing it parps out sand, as opposed to something, well... gloopy. Just needs to have all the bits present.
