Thread 13 - the one with a cheesy advent calendar of 67 jumpers

Reastie · 29/11/2025 20:25

Decided to combine both thread title suggestions :)

Thanks @RainbowZebraWarrior for helping me out and I'm so excited that I was on my computer and she tagged me so I could set this one up - hurrah!

Feeling super festive today after getting the decorations up and visiting Father Christmas. Exciting news is the Christmas bedding and jumpers are all down from the loft and being washed, so I'll soon be able to walk around in my 'I [heart] Christmas' jumper Xmas Grin

This post is a work in progress, and if you have any links you’d like to share or you think would be good to add, then please do let me know. The general consensus for the thread is to share any bargainous links, ideas, and/or discount codes or information. No affiliate links, please.
Please post any referral links to the separate thread linked below. This is a warm, friendly, kind and cosy corner of MN filled with Christmas cookies and hot chocolate - let’s keep it that way!
As we move towards actual Black Friday (does that even exist any more?) the threads tend to move very quickly. It can be helpful to post your bargain in bold. This can be done by adding an asterxix either side of a word with no gap in between. So Levi's would be Levi's

I am getting frustrated with Fahlo - anyone contemplating ordering I really wouldn’t if you want it by Christmas. I ordered over a week ago and customer service are still saying shipping in 7-10 working days. Customer service, even when they stop signing off as Miles the Manatee, don’t seem to be able to give any specific details about my order.

bizzey · 02/12/2025 20:44

Has anyone's automatic discounts disappeared from the Anthropologie website yet ?.

Still can't use my £20 discount.

I am getting suspicious 🤔🤔!!

WhiskyandWater · 02/12/2025 20:48

@FortnumsWeddingBreakfastTeaPlease I’d get her the giraffe and put a note in from Santa saying that he didn’t want them to get mixed up.

Can I please say a HUGE thank you to whoever posted about the escape room advent calendar (probably several threads ago now!), it’s such a fun idea! DD and I are very proud because we have managed the first two doors without resorting to any clues Smile

Edited

Which advent calendar was this please?

Thelifeofawife · 02/12/2025 21:43

@Burnnoticed I second the eBay seller ‘True Face UK’ - I’ve bought a few off them, some are Oodie seconds

pasinphoebe · 02/12/2025 21:45

@Puffalicious it was a sale on the crocs website itself with free shipping no min. order. Then an extra discount with blue light code or unidays code. Not sure if you can join the crocs club too and stack maybe?

Teensknowitall · 02/12/2025 20:17

Not sure if it’s been posted already but until 23:59 tonight using the code CYBER20 there is 20% off Etsy up to maximum £10 discount. Hope this helps someone 😀

Is there a minimum spend? It isn't working for me.

YouCanLetItGo · 02/12/2025 22:31

Still 25% off at Look Fantastic and SAVE gets another 5% off. Just bought a Liz Earle gift set for £29.40!

Still on the hunt for Pokemon cards. One shop said today that they put them out and a man bought ALL of them.

After gift ideas for my brother and SIL. All welcomed! (No alcohol or food)

FurForksSake · 02/12/2025 22:40

@YouCanLetItGo have you tried Argos? I got some there fairly recently.

Notlongnow1 · 02/12/2025 22:44

Ooh on the subject of advent calendars, I think ours may have been a recommendation from the prequel threads... not sure why else I would have bought it in June 😂
Science experiment advent
I only paid £14.99 for it and my 7 and 10 year old are absolutely loving it! Just looked and there was a new one this year. Will definitely be looking out for that to drop in price.

@YouCanLetItGo any particular cards?

Of course, Blue Light too. Also a PP popped a discount code on for 20% so that'll help. It's for DS1 who is to buy for DNiece in the family secret Santa & he suddenly decided that fleece-lined Crocs were the solution! Of course, he's now MIA (student!) & no doubt everything will be OOS or back up in price before he orders anything 🙈

Lidlisthebusiness · 03/12/2025 01:01

Has anyone seen a Christmas themed sippy cup type thing? My children all have Father Christmas mugs in their Xmas Eve Box, and I'd like to find something to put in for the baby but not even Amazon is coming up with anything useful.

That looks fantastic!
if you see it reduced would you be kind enough to tag me - I’d love a reduced one for next year 🧑🏻‍🎄

Do you have a B&M or Home Bargains near you? They often have a good range of festive drinkware and crockery so you might find something there.

Smellslikeperfume · 03/12/2025 06:00

@LoopyGremlin I got a nice solid Christmas spatula and little timer one year and still use the spatula now ! Tk maxx one. Maybe that and a lovely tea towel ? Or a flour shaker

TeamToeBeans · 03/12/2025 06:26

@LidlisthebusinessIf you can’t find anything, look for someone who makes personalised water bottles using vinyl transfers. They can do festive designs , and there’s no reason they shouldn’t be able to do a sippy cup. Doesn’t have to be a name, it could just be a Christmas design. Etsy or a local facebook group would be a good place to look.

Has anyone seen any pokemon christmas wrapping paper please? Tesco online have it for £7 a roll but I don't want to spend that much on something that's going to go straight into recycling!

I had a look and ended up buying from Amazon- I couldn’t find it any cheaper. amzn.eu/d/1P5Oi9c

Carrie76 · 03/12/2025 06:48

@Lidlisthebusiness there are some on treat republic. Not cheap tho

Cleanthecoffeemachine · 03/12/2025 07:57
