It's nearly time! November is tomorrow and Mariah Carey will be officially announcing the start of festivities . Hope you're all well and just wanted to give you all a massive thank you so sharing these wonderful ideas and codes etc. It helps me SO MUCH. This blanket was made using 12 skeins of Scrumpalicious, so you could buy that much. From Wool Warehouse that would cost £87.48.

If that’s too expensive, something similar but finer might be Yarnsmiths Chunky Chenille which comes in 60 colours and is currently £2.99 a skein (100g, 100m) at Wool Warehouse. 9 balls of that should be plenty, and cost you just under £27. As it’s so cheap you could buy a few extra skeins. It is still polyester, though.

Usually a blanket doesn’t need to be a fixed size, so your aunt could just knit until she runs out of yarn.

There aren’t the great offers we saw last week, but there are 2 sets of 3 No7 makeup which they say normally total £44.85 or £49.85 for three items, so £10 is a good price if that’s what you wear or can gift. One includes an eyeshadow palette which is also available in the £10 Tuesday offer on its own. 🤷‍♀️ Perhaps those sets will be what sells out first today.

Then there are the usual Ted Baker sets, vitamins, sex toys and so on. Perhaps it’s rather a niche present but they have a blood pressure monitor for £10, too.

The Boots app was being really glitchy for me just now. I’d add items to the basket, see them there, but the items had disappeared when I next looked in it. When I came to check out it offered me several versions of my address but wouldn’t accept any of them.

To save time I’d suggest going via your usual browser and ignoring the app, unless you have app-only offers you want applied.

My 8 year old loves crafting too and one of her friends bought her this which has been a massive hit, plus she’s made all her friends’ birthday cards with it so it’s a money saver too!

Hobbycraft sell it, but sure you could find packs online. My dd has been to quite a few of the craft workshops Hobbycraft do and has used it to make xmas characters etc.
You have to be quite quick when using it as it starts to harden as soon as its out of the packet.

If you know someone who likes entertaining or for your own buffets etc. Reduced to £9.50, it’s quite substantial and is boxed.

Also heart-shaped platter at £2.50 if you were making up a food hamper it would bulk it out a bit

@MrsClausCanCanCan re custom design t shirts, you can get your own iron on transfers made. I ordered one from Etsy for DS who wanted a YouTuber logo on his t shirt and it looks ace, has washed well so far. Not at all like the old print at home iron on transfers I used as a teen which faded so fast 🙈
