This post is a work in process and if you have any links you’d like to share or would be good to add then please do let me know. The general consensus for the thread is to share any bargainous links, ideas and/or discount codes or information. No affiliate links (is that the right word?) And any referral links to the separate thread linked below. This is a warm, friendly, kind and cosy corner of mn filled with Christmas cookies and hot chocolate - let’s keep it that way!

If you have any referral links then please post on this thread https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/christmas/5212180-bargain-referrals-thread-7 and share around the joy/referral perks.

Hope you're all well. I've just put in a big Temu order for stocking bits and bits for work. They gave me £8 off my next order yesterday as two orders I had are arriving late and, when I contacted customer services about something, they also gave me a 20% off voucher, so I saved £20 on my order!

My DD has asked for a demon hunters colouring book but the only ones I can find look handmade from etsy. I found this which has quizzes and other cool stuff but not colouring https://www.magazinesdirect.com/uk/unofficial-guide-to-k-pop-demon-hunters/dp/899d0338 can anyone recommend one? Thanks

My dd showed me a video where someone was creating a Demon hunter comic book. You can buy blank comic books on Amazon ( although they were more expensive than when I first started buying them) and print pictures off, use stickers to make up the story. You could print some coloured images and black and white ones for her to draw herself.

H&M have 15% off for members today only. Not a mega saving but helpful if you’ve been waiting to buy something

Hello. I’ve been asked to get a a hair wrap towel but I’m a bit confused. There seems to be micro fibre and also T-shirt material. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks

I’ve been using dock and bay hair towels for years, have tried many others but always go back to Dock and Bay, they are definitely the best and well worth paying a bit extra for. Great for taking on holiday or swimming too.

DS (10) got a PlayStation 4 for his birthday and he LOVES it. I don’t know much about gaming nor does DH but we want to get him some things to use with his PlayStation for Christmas. If you have a child that likes gaming on a ps4, what accessories etc do they like and would recommend? He mainly plays Fortnite and speaks to his friends from school (we have security set up so he can’t play with strangers)

my first thoughts are a gaming station, desk, gaming chair, headset with microphone, led lights, a holder for his crontroller and headset. You can get some cool themed holders. You can also get skins including personalised ones for the console and controllers.

In my humble opinion microfibre ones are useless at drying hair . They are ok if you just want to wrap it up , but with long hair especially a proper towel material is needed . These are perfect if not super exciting

I agree, I also have long hair, I usually towel dry most of the water with a standard towel then wrap my hair with a cheap wrap I picked up in a matalan clearance sale. I will admit I absolutely love my wraps now, I’ve never need able to keep a towel in my head for more than a few moments, now I can wrap my hair pre or post brushing and it’s secure while I dry off, moisturise, do make up etc without my hair being in the way.

I have no idea what KPop demon hunters are but have seen them mentioned on this thread - not saying this is bargainous but just had a newsletter from Zara and they have T-shirts £11:99 and hoodies £19:99

It’s an animated movie that was released recently, it’s been a huge hit with kids and adults alike, you probably don’t realise it but you will be hearing the music from it everywhere.

@Ladybaga You could use ChatGPT to create colouring pages, just upload photos of the characters or scenes you want. I did it recently as an engagement present for a friend! Using photos of her & her fiancé, not kpop demon hunters 🤣

Anyone been IRL shopping at Claire’s lately? Am on my way to town tomorrow to pick up my (still there currently) Superdrug perfume bargain and wondered if they had any good deals on for the girls stocking bits after DW literally opened the Smiggle order with DD 🫣 not that I’m holding a grudge

I think it varies per store. I was in London 10 days ago and there are 2 stores on Oxford street. One had 70% off everything and the other 25%

I have been asked for a long spouted indoor watering can!! The recipient isn't a keen gardening so wouldn't appreciate an expensive branded one (I'm assuming such things exist) but in the other hand I'd like a well made one that doesn't leak. Any pointers much appreciated...

Knowledgeable ladies of MN I need your help please?
DD (age 25) has had a major flare up of her eczema during the last year so I am looking for recommmendations for toiletries, make-up etc. Looking for stuff that doesn't look 'clinical' so price is not important. I just want her to be able to indulge herself as she has always loved beauty stuff. Ideally we could get some sample products to try first. Perfume is not a problem and she can just squirt it onto her clothes. Has anyone any suggestions please?.Price is not an issue I just want to help her feel good again.

Thank-you

PS Love these threads. Thanks to the original posters.
