Hope you're all well. I've just put in a big Temu order for stocking bits and bits for work. They gave me £8 off my next order yesterday as two orders I had are arriving late and, when I contacted customer services about something, they also gave me a 20% off voucher, so I saved £20 on my order!

Poundland did boxes of dupes last Christmas and they were gorgeous - if you can hang on til nearer Christmas

Hmm, I just came to say that I was telling my Mum about Outsmarted game as a possible xmas gift she could get DD and when I went to show her on my phone they're doing a flash sale and it's on offer for £19.99 or £28 for their bundle. I am on computer now so was going to add a link but on the web page it's showing as £29.99! Random. Only difference is 5 minutes ago I got the flash sale price whilst on my phone... weird. But if anyone was keeping an eye out you might also get the £19.99 price. Odd! But may be worth investigating?

Agree with the recommendations for Bloom & Wild - I sent my elderly Granny one about eight years ago. She is unfortunately no longer with us, but my mum planted the Christmas tree in the garden and it is still thriving! It was one of the letterbox ones that comes in a flat box!

Heated throws, I don’t know how good they are but saw some on the Debenhams website. There is also the PayPal cashback offer for Debenhams.

Another vote for Bloom and Wild! Sent a couple of 'letterbox' Christmas trees last year and have used them a few times through the year.

I have eczema prone skin on my face.

Cosmetics don't cause an issue for me generally though. Has she seen a demotologist yet?

AO.com has oral B electric toothbrushes for £20 usually £50. Cheaper than boots/ very etc.

We had success with Jelly Drops.

I would avoid any expensive clothes as they all get washed, dried & lost.

Cushions about the person are also a nice reminder to carers that the individual is a person with a rich life history.

Can anyone recommend a brand of heated throws? I hear a lot of ones mentioned here but which ones are good quality and last well? I would appreciate hearing people’s experiences and thoughts.

@HW20 mine was dreamland and lasted 4 years, now need to replace. I find it useful for when im
working from home. Im quite a warm person so dont like a lot of heating on unless i need it, the blanket just goes over my lap and legs and keeps the chill off . Definitely recommend them

I have 2 Dreamland throws, had one for around 4 years and one for around 2. They are the herringbone ones, they have pulls thanks to the cats but work well and have been washed a few times a year. I’ve just ordered another for my dd for Christmas from Boots. I have bought a Silentnight one as a present before but it was much thinner. The recipient liked it though.

do great sized mini aftershaves. Although they are dupes - I’ve always been really impressed with them. My son, daughter and many family/friends use them. There’s always a good deal on and last year they had fab Black Friday offers too!

2.4 kg of Cadbury hero's is currently £25 on amazon that is about £1.30 for 100g. They dont have celebrations in a decent price just now, but often in the run up to christmas I've seen both in giant boxes for less than £25. I've always been tempted to buy and make individual gives, but I suspect I would end up eating 2.4kg of chocolates (maybe only 2kg and everyone I gave chocolates to would wonder why there were only bounty bars)

@HamsterHuey I think all the toys on Etsy for K-Pop Demon Hunters are drop-shipped from China for 3x+ the price. It's a shame there's no official toys in the shops - my kids are obsessed!
