I don't know about anyone else but I find I struggle to think of gift ideas for myself (I have bday just after xmas so I get double trouble).

I would really love a small, thoughtful pile of presents that showed my loved ones know and understand me. Honestly it’s probably the kind of pile my mother would have given me. A book I would love, box of really good, Belgian chocolates, a nice item of clothing, some music I’d like (back in the days of CDs). That kind of thing. Struggling to get specific! Obviously feeling nostalgic. I’m not sure there’s anything I really want right now. Probably a nice vintage ring

I think my mom will get me a half decent iPhone. I probably NEED this (I limp from cheap phone to cheap phone and they are forever packing up and causing me a minor crisis). i just don't WANT it - seems lik a waste of a present.

Oh God I would love vouchers for a tattoo! I'd love to get them but as a single mom without all that much money it just seems to frivolous a spend. I even dated briefly a tattoo artist in the hope he would offer me a freebie! (He didn't - I think he was on to me..... )

I want the opposite! A light cotton midi yukata-style dressing gown. They were everywhere a couple of years ago, but now I want one, can I find one (in a pattern I like, and not off Temu)? Of course not.

I would really like it if ds would get two of his dad’s pictures framed for me. They’re currently in v basic Dunelm frames which don’t hold them in place. Since ds’s previous efforts have usually been along the lines of a box of chocs from the supermarket, I’m not necessarily expecting he will manage this.

My in-laws had bought that for my husband for his upcoming birthday. He’s going to absolutely love it!
