The Christmas Bargain Thread No 2 - The one where it all went very fast

1000 replies

RainbowZebraWarrior · 05/09/2025 18:32

Posting on behalf of @Reastie as I'm guessing she's busy and the last thread was almost full.

This post is a work in process and if you have any links you’d like to share or would be good to add then please do let me know. The general consensus for the thread is to share any bargainous links, ideas and/or discount codes or information. No affiliate links (is that the right word?) And any referral links to the separate thread linked below. This is a warm, friendly, kind and cosy corner of mn filled with Christmas cookies and hot chocolate - let’s keep it that way!

If you have any referral links then please post on this thread <a class="break-all" href="https://_[[//https//www.mumsnet.com/talk/christmas/5212180-bargain-referrals-thread-7" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/christmas/5212180-bargain-referrals-thread-7 and share around the joy/referral perks.

Is there a code for haul please?

IlovePond · 06/09/2025 21:26

@KenIsAnAccessory at the moment everything is 60% off on Haul - no code needed.

This is unlike last week when FIRST70 was giving some people 70% off, (but not my DH, for example!)

KenIsAnAccessory · 06/09/2025 21:27

Hmm, no 60% discount for me 😞

KenIsAnAccessory · 06/09/2025 21:30

Oh actually, I just had to be brave and check out. Discount didn't show til the very last screen. £17ish for £60ish of products.

IlovePond · 06/09/2025 21:30

On your Amazon page if you put Haul into the search box, do you see a banner saying Haul 60% off everything, (or similar)?

IlovePond · 06/09/2025 21:30

Glad it’s working!

KenIsAnAccessory · 06/09/2025 21:30

Sorted now- thanks @IlovePond 🎅

SkinnyOatFlatWhiteForMePlease · 06/09/2025 21:32

Just did a second haul order. I have issues 🙈

Not sure if this site has been mentioned yet but https://boopbeauty.co.uk/ is really good for discounted beauty stuff. There are some good stocking fillers on there - just did an order for my daughters and saved a lot.

If you are looking for Neom diffusers, tkmaxx have some on their site - not with oils but still a good deal: https://www.tkmaxx.com/uk/en/search?st=Diffuser&sort=&facets=&page=0

Hi are the boop beauty items genuine? And still in date? Have spotted Tom Ford perfume on it cheaper than anywhere else but still a lot to risk if not good reviews. Thanks

mousegiggles1 · 06/09/2025 22:21

@ThatRosePanda I have ordered from Boop many times, the items are definitely genuine. I think a lot of it is excess stock, damaged or missing packaging or even rebranding. I would highly recommend them. Although i have had a couple of faulty pieces, but if it is faulty it will usually say on the listing. They are also a sister site of Discount Dragon.

Anewuser · 06/09/2025 22:25

Kids instant print camera, was £31.99, now £24.69, but if you use code BUAVOY3T it takes another £12.35 off, so paid £12.34. Only worked on the pink one for me.

50% off everything on the Crocs site if you have access to Discounts for Teachers. It should only be sale but everything is going 50% off with the code you're given.

Eggmcmuffin · 06/09/2025 10:02

I have a free delivery code for smiggle valid until tomorrow as they screwed up an order of mine. Not sure if it's linked to my email or not but worth a try if you're ordering anyway. K7NBAWIZ.

Thanks so much I just managed to use this to knock off delivery 💛

Nowdontmakeamess · 06/09/2025 23:55

@Anewuserthank you - just ordered one for DD

Amazing 👏 thank you. I used my discounts for carers account, it's a partner site of discounts for teachers. I'm assuming all are running the same promotion

For those who like a cocktail, Boxtails are doing 50% off this weekend with AUTUMN50

This is a great offer, thank you. I've bought them for a friend's birthday before and she absolutely loved them. I've just stashed another 2 boxes for Nov birthdays.

This is a bit niche…
Every year my lovely Dad asks what I want for Christmas and my birthday which are close together. I usually ask for vouchers so I can get things in the January sales. He won’t give me cash as he knows it would be used to pay of debts or bills and he wants me to have a treat 🥹
Anyway, what Id really like is to go on a mini break with the kids. They went on a plane for the first time this year and loved it and I’d love to take them on a plane again. Is there such a thing as vouchers that can be used tor flights? I’ve tried googling without success!

You can buy vouchers for most airlines and holiday companies (like TUI, Jet 2 etc) and you can also go into any travel agency and buy some from them. I've done it for poeples wedding gifts before. If you Google vouchers for flights, the top result should be a very comprehensive AI overview followed by a list of companies that do it. I believe there's also vouchers called flightgift and travelgift, but I've never used them so wouldn't like to recommend, however it would be worth a look at Trust pilot reviews to check them out.

Also check out going via Topcashback.

Edited to update travelgift info

Would love to join your thread!

@Thirtysomething123 I am EXACTLY like you. I always ask for a mini-break for my birthday.

I don't know about flight vouchers so am interested in replies. But if you are in the UK i can recommend a trip to the Channel Islands. Only 45 minutes or so from Southampton airport and absolutely beautiful with loads for Dcs to do.

JustStopItNora · 07/09/2025 07:42

Thank you SO much to the PP who mentioned Amazon Haul. I have just got a couple of little card wallets that will do really nicely!!

Could you tell your dad this and ask him to book the flights for you?
