These tend to run slower than the run up to Christmas ones but doesn't mean there are no bargains!

Gin gift sets and QS tins reduced in JL today. I redeemed my £10 reward for a £10 Rituals shower gel in my favourite Rituals scent and didn’t buy anything else, so feeling virtuous.

Went to Flying Tiger and picked up a couple more of the advent bags and boxes at £1 each plus some half price felt Xmas decorations.

Lots of FCUK and S&G toiletries half price in Boots.

I have use OHS for hoodies and have been very pleased with them .

Not as weighted as Kuddl.e but I found them too heavy.
Very cosy .

@IlovePond ...the £10 I have a John Lewis reward as well.

It says skincare .
I was presuming they meant face only .
Can I use it on any skin products ?

@bizzey - it’s worth trying it with anything in the beauty department. The last ‘skincare’ reward I had, (only a few weeks ago!) I redeemed against an already reduced Bobbi Brown eyeshadow stick. I almost did the same today, but told myself I had to be ‘good’ and not spend more!

It’s a remarkably generous offer - long may they continue!

I know I have to pay postage...but then I think ...well I would have to pay for bus fare if I went to a shop any way !

@bizzey - if buying online try adding the reward - worst case scenario it doesn’t apply and just goes back into your Rewards. I get the impression it might be a bit more flexible instore.

Heads up as had a right bargain in Tesco today. This snowflake outdoor christmas decoration reduced from £40 to £4!! Not sure if you can order online but I saw it in store. The reduced price on the shelf was actually £12 but it went through the till at £4.

Also lovely Tartan wrapping paper 3.5 m roll for 10p and gift tags fir 5p and there was loads there bought 8 rolls but tons left.

Also bought the Santa Stop here sigh for £2.50 reduced from £10 in Dunelm quite a few left along with heavily reduced cra keys and Christmas baubles etc. Just thought I'd give a heads up in case anyone shops in Tesco and Dunelm.

John Lewis have just done further reductions. The Wisteria Gift Set is £34.99 down from £69.99, it’s also reduced on Very too.

I also went into a small Sainsbury’s today and found 12 crackers for 50p and little Christmas cards for 10p for a pack of 12.

It’s Twycross Zoo @running2 They don’t seem to have any discounts going at all, and it’s birthday season for us starting just before Christmas and running up to March!

@InbetweenDreams It doesn't help the initial outlay but if you buy Twycross day tickets you can then go as many times as you want for 12 months (obviously only really useful if you are close enough to visit more than once)

@Justhereforthechristmasthreads yes, that’s a big reason we were looking at Twycross! But it’s still expensive for us at the minute considering everything we’ve had to spend out at the same time

Good point. And it is amazingly easy to get a Blue Peter badge. I think when we did it they just sent a picture in that they had painted (or something along those lines)

My dd got the reading one they had to do a book review, they did it in her school. She's also since got the music one, very easy you just need to answer some questions about your likes/dislikes. And as you say the Blue one is sending a picture, story type thing in.

Yes, we also have the blue Peter badges. So easy and they've replaced them when we lost the badges at school show and tell (twice 🙄)
