Evening all!

Welcome to the first prequel thread of 2025

These tend to run slower than the run up to Christmas ones but doesn't mean there are no bargains!

Happy Christmas Bargain Shopping!

Jacques of London have 30% off until Monday with Clearance30. It works on already reduced items too.
They have lovely toys and they come beautifully packaged. I got DD5 some wooden food when she was 2 and it's still played with and in great condition. She loves the pizza with all the removable toppings.

Thanks for this, just got my little boy a birthday present, now I just have to resist giving it to him the second it arrives!

Thank you. A woman who is turning 65. Interests I'm not sure as always so busy with work and grandchildren! Into music and gigs though I cant afford tickets to anything.

I was looking at the LSA Moya champagne flutes but had a quick look at Brand alley as suggested by @DressOrSkirt and see a nice set of wine glasses for £15

@PumpkinSpicedTea
Could you organise a collection at work to buy tickets for their favourite band? If there's a group of you putting money in then you can buy a more generous gift.

The Works have a few Xmas bits in their clearance. Free Click and Collect but got to spend £20! Good for pre-schooler ages I'd say.

I’ve just spotted that PlayStations are down to £384.85 on Amazon which is a 20% discount on their usual price. I am not sure I have ever seen them less than £400. We got one a couple of years ago so are not in the market for one and it also means I’m not aware of whether there might be a new one coming out this year or anything and so these are old stock. Or perhaps it is simply in response to the new Nintendo coming out. Perhaps worth doing some research but it could be a complete bargain.

Scout2016 · 08/06/2025 22:34

My daughter loves these for her dolls and they are decent quality. Showing as £1.99 in Home Bargains, has anyone seen them in store please? Can't justify postage and can't see click and collect option. Don't live near one and don't want to have a wasted trip. Thanks

For those of you with teen or pre teen girls who are obsessed with fashion, white fox boutique offer 20% off when you sign up to their newsletter, new customers only. Just found out whilst ordering for dd 13th birthday in September. She’s been asking for the last 2 years, figured I’d give in and get it 😂

Arewesureitisntbedtime · 09/06/2025 09:22

Completely not present related but if anyone uses lidl plus and unlocks the free fruit item, you can use it on the 1kg of strawberries that they have in at the moment. Just be aware it takes it off of the cheapest item so best to use it when you aren't buying any other fruit.

Lego Stitch showing as reduced from £60 to £39.97 on the Asda website but just picked up in store for £29.98

TheWeeDonkeyFella · 09/06/2025 16:43

@Scout2016 They had them in my local HB today and something called Tiny Tins too. Not sure if all stores carry the same stock but I'm in Lancashire.

Also in HB today, some cute little stocking filler size Peppa Pig sets for £2.99 RRP £10 (sorry for blurry pic, some sort of staff induction was taking place nearby and I was trying not to look overly suspicious taking photos of shelves!).

Not Christmas I know but struggling with father's day. I have pre school age children and need to get a token present for them to give their dad. He's not into football, golf, cycling, fishing, cooking, sailing, DIY or any of the other classic 'dad' things.
My only thought has been a photo made of lego style blocks the kids could help put together.
Obviously I have left it rather late but if anyone has seen anything cute, I would really appreciate the suggestion!

hby9628 · 09/06/2025 20:42

Pandora sale looks quite good there are some Christmas (& non Christmas!) charms on there for anyone who is looking for bracelet charms.

£20 is a bit much for a token gift but I keep being advertised photo fidgets like This one ? (Never used that site, just an example).

If you have the time could you get your children to decorate a ‘dad’s favourites’ box and put in things like his go to coffee, beer, crisps, nuts, chocolate etc?
