Evening all!

Welcome to the first prequel thread of 2025

These tend to run slower than the run up to Christmas ones but doesn't mean there are no bargains!

Happy Christmas Bargain Shopping!

Hot Diamonds have 50% off their outlet with code EXTRA50.

PoodlesRUs · 25/04/2025 15:38

Any code for Ciora that anybody knows of?

munchbunch12 · 25/04/2025 16:08

If anyone needs more chocolate eggs, my local Sainsbury's had 70% off today.

I was just coming on to say the same thing.

I bought ten 😳

(Easter egg chocolate is the best chocolate, and they will last through the year in the pantry.)

I like your style!! I just got 1 of the £3 Lindt eggs and 3 boxes of the small TTD eggs. If I had a pantry too I'd have bought more!

For any YSL lovers, there's 25% off on the website now using code ICONICDAYS. I've just bought a bottle of Jazz Cologne and it took £20 off the cost. You also get to choose 2 free samples and it's free shipping. I'll put it away for either DDs birthday or Christmas.

The code also works on their make up range.

Elpheba · 26/04/2025 06:45

Whistlefish have got £1 delivery if you spend £20 this weekend. So I’ve just made an order for two lots of the 10 greeting cards for £10. They have some lovely thank you teacher ones on there and my birthday card stock was getting low so will be topped up beautifully!

PissedOffNeighbour22 · 26/04/2025 08:39

As usual, nothing left in my local store - sent my husband to the big Sainsburys this morning after his night shift and not a single egg to be found. I’d already checked the smaller stores near where I work and nothing there either.

I was looking forward to a nice big egg as we got married at Easter weekend and forgot to actually buy an Easter egg!

Ivalueloyaltyaboveallelse · 26/04/2025 09:01

Thanks@RainbowZebraWarrior
just purchased YSL Y EDP and deodorant stick for DS to try.

TheWeeDonkeyFella · 26/04/2025 11:33

I called in The Range earlier and they had quite a few Christmas themed gifts in a sale, priced £2.50-£3.95ish. Some cute mug sets with hot chocolate with BB date end July, and I don't think hot chocolate goes off but you could always swap with a couple of sachets of your own. Some of the items could also be used for a birthday, e.g. an espresso martini set, iced coffee, shortbread baking sets.

From Jo Malone in case anyone needs it. Welcome the long weekend with a fragrant gift. Receive a complimentary full-sized Pomegranate Noir 30ml Cologne when you spend £160. Simply use code TREAT at checkout to redeem.*

I popped into my sainsburys local tonight & came across fuzzy duck foot soak & sock set down to £2.50. I purchased 2 and when I checked online when I got home they are showing as £10 in boots!
they also had some Baylis and Harding manicure sets for £2.70 which looked quite cute

fishfingersandchipsagain · 29/04/2025 21:39

More of a PSA than a bargain, but I know there is a love of the (now discontinued) dark chocolate toblerones on here.

They are still available in airports - 2 of the huge ones for £14. Worth a thought if you are popping off on your hols over the summer.

Ivalueloyaltyaboveallelse · 29/04/2025 21:52

@fishfingersandchipsagain
thanks for the reminder go away Saturday.

SomeFiggyPudding · 30/04/2025 19:27

I went to Tesco today - lots of pyjama sets/slippers/tights on sale. I got my daughter some Ugg style slippers to put away for Christmas, down to £5 from £20. I didn’t see a pair more expensive than £7.

PoodlesRUs · 02/05/2025 01:49

I'm being downright cheeky but has anyone got a valid UniDays account? Mine expired last month and I'm looking for an Allbeauty code. They've got some perfumes I'd love to pick up for family!

Just a reminder to use TCB or Quidco where possible for online purchases. I was massively late to the party as I didn’t understand how it all worked, but thanks to people on here I took the plunge. I got £50 from TCB a while ago, and have just got got another £40 from Quidco - all on things I would have bought anyway. I really wish I had done it ages ago 🙈

I always get the money sent to PayPal, but with Quidco, if you get an Amazon gift card instead, they give you a little bit extra on top.

TheWeeDonkeyFella · 02/05/2025 14:06

Definitely @IlovePond, it's surprising how quickly it adds up and I find TCB fairly reliable compared to other trackers (scowling at you in particular, BA Avios shopping portal!). I've just had decent amounts back from car and home insurance, with the TCB quotes coming in as low as direct quotes or comparison sites.

If shopping through TCB, it's also worth checking if the merchant is on the TCB gift card list too - cashback when buying the gift card which you then use to purchase your item through TCB and cashback for that transaction too.

MerylSqueak · 02/05/2025 16:02

Quidco and TCB are good if you're switching utilities. They usually pay a good whack for going through their comparison tool.
