Evening all!

Welcome to the first prequel thread of 2025

These tend to run slower than the run up to Christmas ones but doesn't mean there are no bargains!

Happy Christmas Bargain Shopping!

I have a £6 off £60 spend that expires on the 22nd if it’s any good to anyone?

PumpkinSpicedTea · 19/04/2025 14:45

Museum Selection has an up to 50% sale on. It's been mentioned here in the past and I've bought nice gifts from there before.

Don't know why it won't add the click link sorry, have tried so many times

Just bought this to put away on Amazon - has great reviews and my DD1 is literally Barbie obsessed so hoping it goes down well £12.83 from £54

@Flubadubba it’s back down

Willow4987 · 19/04/2025 19:07

This is quite good - got it for my nieces as a small add on £5.40 eye shadow pallete

Steven Brown art has 40% off sitewide for the next two days. I love their prints

IlovePond · 20/04/2025 09:02

ROKA are giving free shipping today - quite handy if you just want a pair of their rather nice socks, for example!

They are also still doing their 50% off ‘egg’ offers, (although the bargain £9.97 Paddington B has been withdrawn 😿).

On a related note:

As someone who went a little overboard in the Xmas ROKA lucky dip and is now something of a ROKA expert 😹 - I can confirm that the Bantry is NOT waterproof in a downpour due to the top zip, which lets in all the water, but the Canfield is, (courtesy of the rollover top).

Argh Claires drives me mad! They are showing an Easter sale and buy 3 get 3 free. All my items are in the 'buy 3' section but nothing is coming off at checkout! Has anyone had any success?

It’s not showing 3 for 3 for me - it’s a flash sale at 50% off across the site. You might have been trying when they were transitioning to the sale?

I'm looking for a present for an 11 year old girl, family friend.. not Xmas but hoping something pops up on here ideas wise. Loves stuffed fluffy toys but already has a lot of those.

I would love an Argos code if it is still available?

How about something a Squishmallow? They seem popular with all ages.

11 is a difficult age. My niece loved an Americam sweet hamper (from Amazon) at that age, and a bubble tea kit.

IlovePond · 21/04/2025 15:54

@AnotherDayInParadise43 - if she has pierced ears and no allergies, then she’d probably like an earring set from Lovisa:

https://www.lovisa.co.uk/collections/sale?

There’s a sale on there atm.

Alternately, Primark have some brilliant Hello Kitty/other characters bags, water bottles, stationery sets, cushions, etc.

Is the Barbie boat mentioned above appropriate for a 3 and a bit year old? My DD loves baby dolls, hasn't had any Barbie's or similar yet. She will be 3 in September. Does love a bath though so was tempted by the boat.

Willow4987 · 21/04/2025 18:24

@MaybeItsTimeForMeNow there are some smaller bits in it but if you took those out I don’t see why they couldn’t play with the boat and the actual Barbie’s

my sons have had fire engines etc that came with smaller bits at that age that I just took the small choking hazards out and stored away. But they were terrible for putting things in their mouths!
