Greetings and welcome one and all to a friendly and joyful corner of mn - the Christmas bargain thread. Here, we share Christmas present purchases, ideas, links and discount codes, with the aim to spread the Christmas magic and joy and reduce the financial stress.

It's a very busy thread, so see the tips below for helping everything run smoothly and avoiding repetitions of Cookiegate etc al. It's a lovely, friendly bunch and I'm so grateful to each and every one of you for building such a warm, fuzzy and generous spot on mn. I know I've save so much over the years and am so grateful to all of you for sharing.

So today on my Sparks card, I have £3 off a Christmas box of chocolates and 25% off Colin and Percy advent calendars. The chocolates one is really useful for me so that’s two days in a row I’ve had good offers which is better than the 12 days of Christmas that they did last year. I’m quite excited to see what I get tomorrow!

Looking to club together to buy a tv as a gift. The person has no landline or wifi. Is there such a magical thing as a TV that would have this inbuilt so it comes like a package or have I dreamt this?

Not in the slightest bit helpful but I live in a town where there's a Totes factory and pre-Covid they used to have a big sale weekend and open to the public. I am now feeling nostalgic for past bargains.

Do you wise ones think the Spicery will have any further pre-Christmas sales. I'm sure they had Black Friday offers in previous years. We have run out of some spices and I need to order a refill but am to loathe to do so if they are about to go on sale. Or have I missed it? Thanks!

Hi @Dreamingofwalden I remember the days when Totes held their sale in the warehouse. Got some amazing bargains. I did contact them to ask if they were going to start doing it again, and the answer was no. But maybe one day....

OMG! For some reason I was convinced you could only play Blokus with 4 people so I have not bought it for years, even tho my kid would love it, as there's only 3 of us!!! Thank you so much for correcting my assumption off to purchase the bargain right now!
