Greetings and welcome one and all to a friendly and joyful corner of mn - the Christmas bargain thread. Here, we share Christmas present purchases, ideas, links and discount codes, with the aim to spread the Christmas magic and joy and reduce the financial stress.

It's a very busy thread, so see the tips below for helping everything run smoothly and avoiding repetitions of Cookiegate etc al. I don't know if this is a bargain or not as it still feels like a lot of money 😂 but I just got 5 items of VB Beauty for £113 delivered. Wanted to try the satin Kajal liner for a while and there is a free Eyewear shadow stick with any purchase at the moment. There was then a set with blush stick, highlighter stick and contour stick that was reduced anyway and as a new user the code LOOK15 took an extra 15% off the set and the eyeliner. So although still not cheap at less than £20 an item I don't think it's too bad.

I've found another Oh Deer code for 50% off Christmas cards when you buy 5+ if someone would like it. Its from Vodafone

@TheBigFish I have tried this a few times today and it does not take off the eyeshadow. It's in my cart with another item, but doesn't take the eyeshadow stick off at checkout 😢

@TheBigFish I joined the mailing list and you had to sign up for texts. It also keeps shifting to dollars even though I've set address to UK. It's really not happy! Think I need to take it as a sign that it's not meant to be....
