Thanks @Travelcrazy for the title. It really tickled me!

Greetings and welcome one and all to a friendly and joyful corner of mn - the Christmas bargain thread. Here, we share Christmas present purchases, ideas, links and discount codes, with the aim to spread the Christmas magic and joy and reduce the financial stress.

It's a very busy thread, so see the tips below for helping everything run smoothly and avoiding repetitions of Cookiegate etc al. It's a lovely, friendly bunch and I'm so grateful to each and every one of you for building such a warm, fuzzy and generous spot on mn. I know I've save so much over the years and am so grateful to all of you for sharing.

Pull up a sleigh and relax with a mulled wine and mince pie, for Christmas has nearly arrived!

@ me if you need anything or you want to let me know anything - the thread moves so fast I can't always keep up so this really helps

A few pointers to make everyone’s life easier and the thread be as useful as possible:

  • It’s handy to put in bold the bargains so they’re easy to spot
  • No affiliate links
  • No need to place mark or post messages of hello or thanks at the start of a new thread - use the ‘watch thread’ button
  • Be nice or leave

The current referral thread for sharing referral codes https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/christmas/4940918-4940918-bargain-referrals-thread-6 . Please use this rather than this page to share referral links to make the sharing fair.

To make clicks links, you set it up like this only without any spaces apart from between the website and the word(s) you’re writing: www.bargainsahoyeveryonecomehere.co.uk

Thanks @RainbowZebraWarrior for the instructions below.
To make something bold, put this star * either side of the word you want to bold (with no spaces in between)

So starhellostar would look like this.

hello

Obviously use the * not the word star

Some of the below is copied and pasted from previous years, so do @ me if the links don't work

@Fuckingfuckssake the chocolate latte sachets are on the hotel chocolat website but they are dated end of November which is why they are cheap

Also a note to anyone who buys the sachets from the outlets they are usually very short dated too sadly

Fuckingfuckssake · 04/11/2024 20:16

Thanks @Justhereforthechristmasthreads but I still can't see them! Am I being daft? Is it just the usual website?

Jellybum2019 · 04/11/2024 20:25

redjoker · 04/11/2024 20:28

Some ELEMIS down to £37 here if you like. I'm keeping an eye on amazon for any big glitches again

mummydoris2006 · 04/11/2024 20:31

@Inbetweendreams I go to Disneyland Paris a week today if you wanted a really special one.

mumonthehill · 04/11/2024 20:32

Russell Hobbs stand mixer. Hard to tell but think this is 39.99

Says it's 120 quid in argos?!

Edited

I have this one and it’s good. I think I paid about £80 for it. I’m just about to replace it with the bargain cuisinart one though.

LittleMousewithcloggson · 04/11/2024 20:50

If you’ve ordered from Hollister in the past check your emails for a 20% off code (ends today though)

onedayatatime73 · 04/11/2024 20:51

@LostMyRubySlippers
Sorry I've just been on there again and can't see it. It popped up as a good discount. 20% I think. That said. We did loads of research but then bought second hand from Vinted. But on great condition. Worth a look if you're not sure. But they've been a bit help to our DD for a couple of years. Happy to share more info if helpful.

sorry think the above was for @Twinsandsome not me! 😊

hotchocdrinker · 04/11/2024 21:08

@Entertherubicon I've just had an email today from Hotel Chocolat with a code for £20 off a £90 spend, valid until midnight on 10 November. I won't use it so you can have it if you like.

gaggiagirl · 04/11/2024 21:09

Ryderwear have 50% off site wide for another hour or so. The sale is only on for 2 hours.
Good if you have gym goers to buy for.

LePetitMaman · 04/11/2024 21:18

Minecraft advent would be ideal for DD!

MamaK19 · 04/11/2024 21:21

PoisedGoldBiscuit · 04/11/2024 19:10

I bought one off of Marketplace if you don't mind secondhand, there always seems to be one floating around on there 😊

Thanks @PoisedGoldBiscuit more than happy to have a second hand one if it’s cheaper unfortunately marketplace where I am I can only see ones that are still £150-£200 mark which I was hoping to spend a bit less than that if poss 🤞🤞

Niece and nephew asked for flavoured gin and flavoured vodka Does anyone know of a subscription type thing I can join and then cancel with a good discount? Happy to use someone’s referral if that’s helpful. I’ve looked at the referrals thread and can only find Laithwaites which doesn’t appear to sell what I need. Suggestions welcome.

Have a look at the craft gin club. You get a full sized bottle of gin, plus mixers to make several cocktails, snacks and a magazine with recipes in. They also sell the mixers etc on their website separately.

Ha love the thread title. These mini fridges are half price apparently

fridges

I would be interested in hearing anyone's experience of the mini fridge. My nine year old son has asked for one but I don't even know what he would put in it. He is only allowed fizzy drinks on a Saturday. Fine cheeses?

Fuckingfuckssake · 04/11/2024 19:56

I've got a 15% off single use code for Sock Shop, if anyone wants it PM me.

Ooooh is this still available? I was thinking of buying the advent calendar.

Thanks to everyone in the last thread with the cheap earbud recommendations!

Thelifeofawife · 04/11/2024 22:06

Has anyone seen deals on Ugg better than 10% off? I’m looking for Tazz slippers but best price I can find so far is £95 (including discount)
