Greetings and welcome one and all to a friendly and joyful corner of mn - the Christmas bargain thread. Here, we share Christmas present purchases, ideas, links and discount codes, with the aim to spread the Christmas magic and joy and reduce the financial stress.

Lego Chamber of Secrets is down to £74.99 on Very, seems a cheaper price than I've previously seen so I've ordered as it was on my daughter's Christmas list!

Are there any codes for free delivery at Smiggle? Calendar seems good for £15.... But as it's a sale item no codes work on it, and the delivery is £4.99 unless you spend £50.

My 15yr old daughter, who has previously had zero interest in make up or skincare, declared last night that she'd like to try some new looks out. Not sure if you meant one that looks like the traditional soldier, but Solstrene Grene sells a cute one like a toadstool, hand sized. You put the nut inside and screw down the toadstool top until the nut cracks. I saw it in store, but can see it's sold on many sites via google.
