Sorry - I panicked with the title Blush

Greetings and welcome one and all to a friendly and joyful corner of mn - the Christmas bargain thread. Here, we share Christmas present purchases, ideas, links and discount codes, with the aim to spread the Christmas magic and joy and reduce the financial stress.

It's a very busy thread, so see the tips below for helping everything run smoothly and avoiding repetitions of Cookiegate etc al. It's a lovely, friendly bunch and I'm so grateful to each and every one of you for building such a warm, fuzzy and generous spot on mn. I know I've save so much over the years and am so grateful to all of you for sharing.

Pull up a sleigh and relax with a mulled wine and mince pie, for Christmas has nearly arrived!

@ me if you need anything or you want to let me know anything - the thread moves so fast I can't always keep up so this really helps

A few pointers to make everyone’s life easier and the thread be as useful as possible:

  • It’s handy to put in bold the bargains so they’re easy to spot
  • No affiliate links
  • No need to place mark or post messages of hello or thanks at the start of a new thread - use the ‘watch thread’ button
  • Be nice or leave

The current referral thread for sharing referral codes https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/christmas/4940918-4940918-bargain-referrals-thread-6 . Please use this rather than this page to share referral links to make the sharing fair.

To make clicks links, you set it up like this only without any spaces apart from between the website and the word(s) you’re writing: www.bargainsahoyeveryonecomehere.co.uk

Thanks @RainbowZebraWarrior for the instructions below.
To make something bold, put this star * either side of the word you want to bold (with no spaces in between)

So starhellostar would look like this.

hello

Obviously use the * not the word star

Some of the below is copied and pasted from previous years, so do @ me if the links don't work

I can only get SALE50 (50% off) to stack with JEWELS (free delivery) and the basket recovery code. It doesn’t seem to stack with any others, including keyworker.

Although HONEY25 takes 25% off full price, which is good to know because SALE50 only works with sale items.

I managed to Stack my student code, free delivery and HONEY25 on a full price item. It takes a bit of experimentation I think lol

Thanks @Blessedbethefruitz I’ll have a look in b&M, even if I don’t end up with a squishmallow I am sure there’ll be lots of other things I need in there!

Justkeepsmilingx · 25/10/2024 12:24

Just got this on Amazon for my teenager. Different shades are different prices but I did a S&P and a 5% off voucher on the page and it was just £2.40 - can be used as blush or highlighter etc.

edited because of typo - s&s autocorrected to a&e 😩

50% off Hot Diamonds same - make sure to try stack codes, worked with blue light code last time

I can't get the Blue light code to stack. Still a good deal though.

Not sure if this has been mentioned
Asda has the tubs of Christmas chocs Heroes, Roses, Quality St down to 2 for £5 instead of 2 for £9, only via the coupon on the Rewards App. Asdas system is struggling, but I managed to get the coupon on my App and took a screenshot before it disappeared and that was accepted

The whole system went down when I was in Asda this morning and no one could use it 🙈

Can someone remind me where the iced biscuits were from? Was it B&M?

Cheeky £4.61 Zuma from paw patrol

Great! Glad it was more than 50% off as had to get two for two small DSs close in age that are in their toy arguments era... 🫠🫠🫠

OKScarpetta · 25/10/2024 12:57

Washimals- my 3 yr old loves them and we have a number of sets (dinosaurs, jungle animals and arctic animals). Essentially little animals you can colour in, wash in water and scrub. Wait for them to dry and ready to go.

In Home Bargains today they had the cat set at £7.99 (on Amazon £19.98)

I've mentioned this on last thread but now have an actual code to share ...

Excellent gift for fashion lovers, my teen loved one this as an end of exams present and I think I'll do again for Christmas.

Six print copies of Vogue for £9, digital access and free make up gift (sent separately) worth £38.

IMPORTANT PART - You will need to cancel to avoid it renewing at full price however for this particular mag it was surprisingly easy. You must do 8 weeks before last issue and I didn't even set up an account I just waited for first issue to come through then immediately emailed [email protected] with instructions to cancel so I wasn't billed after 6th issue and they confirmed action a few days later.

@Yalz ...can I report your post and ask MN why my post and words were used above their advert , which my post has nothing of relevance for ?

I’m sorry, buzzey, I had no intention to offend. It was drawing attention to MN’s odd advertising algorithms, nothing to do with you at all.

I’ll report my post and ask MN to remove.

tellmewhenthespaceshiplandscoz · 25/10/2024 13:37

Another Pai skincare one, free Cleanse & Calm Mini Duo worth £16 with every order over £45.

Free delivery is I think £35 and if your under that they do nice washable face clothes for about £8 to bring your order up

Buzzey 😅 after that advert... Freudian slip surely? 😂😂

What scents are nice? This is perfect gift thank you

Re the Valentte scents, I’m so sorry but I don’t know - I only know that last year so many people were raving about them but I was too slow and missed the offer. This year I’ve been quicker 😊 and chosen the ones on the promotional offers, including two of the neroli diffuser sets on special offer (2 diffusers and a soap for £16.95), the merry moments perfume gift box (for me!), the two Xmas diffusers of pine plus a cinnamon one (ok these are for me too 😂), and the free geranium signature candle (look for the offer near the bottom of the screen on your phone) which I will add to a gift.

Hoping someone with experience of ordering previously can help you with recommendations!

It was a quick correction at the preview after it had autocorrected to something else. Completely wrong.

MN has quickly removed my original post at my request. I think I’ll stay off MN for the rest of the day as I’m not MNetting well. I don’t want to inadvertently offend anyone else. 😢

Restlessinthenorth · 25/10/2024 13:59

Just picked up the Bobby brown star gift that I ordered from a recommendation from here. What an absolute bargain that is! Thank you

TimPat · 25/10/2024 14:02

Does anyone have a link for the beat the parents game? I can only find it for £20+ on amazon and DS would love it.
