Greetings and welcome one and all to a friendly and joyful corner of mn - the Christmas bargain thread. Here, we share Christmas present purchases, ideas, links and discount codes, with the aim to spread the Christmas magic and joy and reduce the financial stress.

It's a very busy thread, so see the tips below for helping everything run smoothly and avoiding repetitions of Cookiegate etc al. It's a lovely, friendly bunch and I'm so grateful to each and every one of you for building such a warm, fuzzy and generous spot on mn. I know I've save so much over the years and am so grateful to all of you for sharing.

What MSE suggest doing is looking at how much each item in a cracker or advent could be bought for separately with any discounts. If the SpaceNK cracker is cheaper then it’s worth it.

It sounds so simple, and yet I fail to do the maths every year myself🙈

With FIRST15 the Rare Beauty lip comes down to £17 on SpaceNK

That’s already more than the price of SpaceNK’s lip cracker, which is £30, not counting the other items in there. In monetary value it’s worth it, if that’s what you were wanting to buy.

A quick look shows 2 items total at least £24 so I've ordered through Top Cashback with free delivery. Thanks for tip!

There's a few Jo malone items on tkmaxx at the moment but not perfume I don't think

They also had to diptyque candles the other day (not checked if still there recently)

You can't always search by brand so may have to scroll through the relevant section.

Some shiseido gift sets on there today which look ok but I've not smelled the fragrance so don't know if it's nice. Also various Neom items

Some Orchard toys bargains at Sainsburys, picked up Crazy Chefs at 50% off, so down to £4, but it scanned through the till at £2.96. They also had Dino snap but not sure if that was the same.
