Greetings and welcome one and all to a friendly and joyful corner of mn - the Christmas bargain thread. Here, we share Christmas present purchases, ideas, links and discount codes, with the aim to spread the Christmas magic and joy and reduce the financial stress.

It's a very busy thread, so see the tips below for helping everything run smoothly and avoiding repetitions of Cookiegate etc al. It's a lovely, friendly bunch and I'm so grateful to each and every one of you for building such a warm, fuzzy and generous spot on mn. I know I've save so much over the years and am so grateful to all of you for sharing.

My Elemis was just delivered. Boxed sealed and the jar is full. Super impressed. Was going to give as a present but it's now a treat for me for finishing Xmas shopping early 😅

Aw so glad it finally arrived (after DH left it sitting in his car for a week! ) I love the xmas spirit on this thread and save so much money every year and am very rarely quick enough to contribute many deals so its lovely to be able to help where possible..... my youngest spotted the mouse in the shopping bag and has already adopted him! 😂

My Nespresso has arrived today. Thanks to whoever posted the deal initially.

Amazon have Tamagotchi unis (full colour graphics, usually £70) for £24-27, not many left and the page keeps glitching - pink is now showing £55 for me, but £24 on the smaller link photo...

Mine is apparently being delivered tomorrow by Hived (never heard of them?) so now I will be ordering that pod converter someone helpfully posted about!

I ordered the Nespresso about twenty minutes before people were reporting the code no longer worked.

I've had "we've got your order... processed..." Then nothing. I think perhaps the first few that got through the net are being fulfilled, but pot luck for the rest of us.

We purchase most of ours off vinted! We can generally get them for under £5 per book especially if you get in a bundle.

Just had a message from hived that my nespresso order is on its way so don’t give up hope @LePetitMaman Mine said processing before that

@telltellmewhenthespaceshiplandscoz Contigo are brilliant. They are about £25 but the only ones that seem to be reliably leak free!

I went on the Sainsburys stock finder (who knew that was a thing?!) and they have a vampire mouse in a store 6 miles away so was going to pop tomorrow but glad you are sorted 🥳 🐭

I agree contigo travel mugs are great- spill proof and keep drinks warm for ages.....if you go for the older style they are just as good and I find they fit onto cup holders better......they are often reduced - currently £10 on amazon
