Thanks @Felith for the title!

It was a toughie to pick the thread title this time!
Thanks to @RainbowZebraWarrior for the title Xmas Grin For those interested, our fate is best before June of next year and the offer was regarding Guylian choices at B&M.

Greetings and welcome one and all to a friendly and joyful corner of mn - the Christmas bargain thread. Here, we share Christmas present purchases, ideas, links and discount codes, with the aim to spread the Christmas magic and joy and reduce the financial stress.

It's a very busy thread, so see the tips below for helping everything run smoothly and avoiding repetitions of Cookiegate etc al. It's a lovely, friendly bunch and I'm so grateful to each and every one of you for building such a warm, fuzzy and generous spot on mn. I know I've save so much over the years and am so grateful to all of you for sharing.

Pull up a sleigh and relax with a mulled wine and mince pie, for Christmas has nearly arrived!

@ me if you need anything or you want to let me know anything - the thread moves so fast I can't always keep up so this really helps

A few pointers to make everyone’s life easier and the thread be as useful as possible:

  • It’s handy to put in bold the bargains so they’re easy to spot
  • No affiliate links
  • No need to place mark or post messages of hello or thanks at the start of a new thread - use the ‘watch thread’ button
  • Be nice or leave

The current referral thread for sharing referral codes https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/christmas/4940918-4940918-bargain-referrals-thread-6 . Please use this rather than this page to share referral links to make the sharing fair.

To make clicks links, you set it up like this only without any spaces apart from between the website and the word(s) you’re writing: www.bargainsahoyeveryonecomehere.co.uk

Thanks @RainbowZebraWarrior for the instructions below.
To make something bold, put this star * either side of the word you want to bold (with no spaces in between)

So starhellostar would look like this.

hello

Obviously use the * not the word star

Some of the below is copied and pasted from previous years, so do @ me if the links don't work

Lots of the Britney Spears 100ml perfumes are on offer on Amazon! I’ve personally tried the original fantasy and midnight fantasy and both smell amazing. Electric fantasy is probably the cheapest from what I’ve seen at £15.94 for 100ml

A bit cheeky and last minute but does anyone have a national trust free pass they didn't use? I'm a complete doughnut and lost the email

@WeMeetInFairIthilien I found some in Lakeland

issantahereyet · 17/10/2024 23:20

Would this be suitable?

Buttermilk Plant Powered Vegan Chocolate Bombe?

issantahereyet · 17/10/2024 23:21

Sorry forgot to tag you @WeMeetInFairIthilien

I purchased Crackle Wick candles from Home Bargains which are a WoodWick dupe home.bargains/product/57b888a4-271b-4037-b61e-def313e3dfcf/crackle-wick-crackling-wooden-wick-candle-winter-nights

£5.99 for 606gram candle, great fragrances and love the sound of fire crackling.

halloweenscat · 18/10/2024 05:25

25% off tu clothing.
This is good as their 'basic' clothes prices seem to have shot up from last year.

mumonthehill · 18/10/2024 06:47

Oddballs have a sale and have some nice small towels that might be a good stocking filler.

WeMeetInFairIthilien · 18/10/2024 06:49

Thank you @issantahereyet and @Felith I shall go a hunting!

Should have thought to look for vegan, rather than vegetarian!

MulberryPeony · 18/10/2024 06:49

My sheepskin lucky dip slippers arrived yesterday from Onaie. I could not be more happy with the colour! They are a perfect match to my Lilac British Shorthair lol.

44PumpLane · 18/10/2024 06:56

@halloweenscat thanks for the reminder- I was waiting for the Tu discount with some Monster High pyjamas in my basket!

Also a heads up for those after Monster High bits as the Pyjamas were only £10.50 with the discount.

Also I just saw the free delivery in Disney Store is now live using FREEDEL- the advert on Facebook says it's live for 24 hours!

mummydoris2006 · 18/10/2024 07:09

@Reastie a new title suggestion, The one with the flatulent dog candle!

Reastie · 18/10/2024 07:10

Hi all, I’m doing school run atm so can’t set up a new thread until I’m back. If it’s too chatty before I get back then do set up a new thread (or wait for me!).

Could you please pm me the code if you still have it.

LePetitMaman · 18/10/2024 07:22

Can confirm the gruum bundles are a con. Tiny less than travel size looking samples.

"Worth £60 plus a free gift" they claimed on the last one. It's worth about £2.50...& the free gift? One of those vouchers for wine or beer that you have to subscribe to, you know the ones you always get tucked in magazines or junk mail.

PumpkinSpicedTea · 18/10/2024 07:48

I know this bargain was posted many threads ago but thank you so much to who posted the bargain My Little Pony MUSICAL MANE MELODY on Amazon. Gave to my daughter for her birthday today and she absolutely loves it. Such a substantial gift at bargain price of about £6 just went and checked the price I paid and it's now £35 😱

Going to keep an eye out for it going down again for a present for my niece in the future!

Freshair87 · 18/10/2024 07:59

juicyjellybaby · 18/10/2024 08:00

@44PumpLane perfwct for my daughter, thank you for mentioning I hadn’t thought to look for clothing items

BlueLu · 18/10/2024 08:11

Yalz · 17/10/2024 21:47

Is that actually M&S, @WideFootWelly ?

I haven't been in a bricks-and-mortar one for a couple of years (illness) and they must have changed a lot.

I still do a lot of online M&S shopping, though.

Our M&S has an early learning centre concession tucked behind the kids section and this looks like that to me.
