Greetings and welcome one and all to a friendly and joyful corner of mn - the Christmas bargain thread. Here, we share Christmas present purchases, ideas, links and discount codes, with the aim to spread the Christmas magic and joy and reduce the financial stress.

It's a very busy thread, so see the tips below for helping everything run smoothly and avoiding repetitions of Cookiegate etc al. It's a lovely, friendly bunch and I'm so grateful to each and every one of you for building such a warm, fuzzy and generous spot on mn. I know I've save so much over the years and am so grateful to all of you for sharing.

@Ewock it's not stupid was new to me too. It's just the outlet section of the Boots website. If you google "boots outlet" it will come up

This was mentioned in the prequel thread but has just arrived today- free Star Wars print (just pay £3.99 postage). It gave me the option to get 2 free for some reason when I ordered. Would make a lovely gift, it's printed on nice card.

Right, I shall try to redeem myself. Just picked up these bags of Moreish Munch which are the same as Merry Munch. Reduced to £1.25 in my M&S. 300g bags and use by date of 03/25. I'm assuming they are just making room on the shelves for the festive versions. (I've picked up a few as stocking fillers and the rest I will fill last years tin with)

I make my DDs advent every year. Last year I used Temu and got lots of jewellery and used these for advent. I don’t want to use Temu though this year as lots of the stuff broke quickly.
so far I’ve done the 10 for £10 at Claire’s. Where else could I get some cheapie make up or jewellery? That doesn’t break easily!

@RainbowWife I missed the Star Wars art before. Thank you so so much for the reminder! My DH who is notoriously hard to buy for is going to absolutely love the prints. Especially as I had to carry his AT-AT childhood toy home in my hand luggage this holiday and it now has pride of place on the windowsill 😆
