I feel like this year is going to be my year of terrible cheesy Christmas pun thread titles Xmas Grin

Greetings and welcome one and all to a friendly and joyful corner of mn - the Christmas bargain thread. Here, we share Christmas present purchases, ideas, links and discount codes, with the aim to spread the Christmas magic and joy and reduce the financial stress.

It's a very busy thread, so see the tips below for helping everything run smoothly and avoiding repetitions of Cookiegate etc al. It's a lovely, friendly bunch and I'm so grateful to each and every one of you for building such a warm, fuzzy and generous spot on mn. I know I've save so much over the years and am so grateful to all of you for sharing.

Pull up a sleigh and relax with a mulled wine and mince pie, for Christmas has nearly arrived!

Some of the below is copied and pasted from previous years, so do @ me if the links don't work

Stock informer is a handy site http://www.stockinformer.co.uk/default.aspx?fullsite=1

Camelcamelcamel is a great amazon price tracking tool http://uk.camelcamelcamel.com

@PolkadotsAndMoonbeams yes, I asked DD what the app was that she got at the weekend. She said Procreate. I confirmed it was all one word as I'd imagined Pro Create (given the same train of thought as yourself)

Anyway, seems I wasn't the only one wondering..

Last day today for a free plush pumpkin at Hobbycraft with a £20 spend via the app. I've just been and ours had plenty left.

Sideorderofchips · 16/09/2024 12:52

Just to flag if you want all 3 prints refuse the first offer of £10 and drops to £7

Thanks to OP for flagging also missed in earlier threads

@Slater22 how do you get this offer please? I'd like the 3 prints so do I go for the free one and then it gives you the option to get the 3 for £10 to then refuse for £7 at checkout? and are these the a5 prints? xx

Was in Tesco and got some filled half coconut bird feeders for 55p! Good for DH's stocking!

Also got Haribo Elf Surprises (elf shaped sweets - some sweet, some sour) and Squashies Naughty or Nice - elf shaped squashies, some strawberry ice cream flavour, some apple pie flavour) These were both £1 with Clubcard (£1.25 without). They'll be perfect for our Christmas Eve box or festive film snacking!

These all sound good, thanks. Going to Tesco tomorrow, so a lits has been made.

Although the 'half coconut bird feeders for DH' rather reminds me of the woman who's DH ate the home made fat balls thinking they were artisan Scotch eggs, then complained they were a bit greasy.

My bad! It's actually the dedicated number 7 outlet...

Rather specific but if you're near York they have a lovely Ravensburger outlet shop in the McArthur Glenn Designer Outlet.

They have loads of jigsaws, but also board games, a bit Brio section, Gravitrax add ons. They are a big German company that own a number of brands.

I got this maths game for £13, it's £22 on Amazon. Perfect for my DS 10, who is maths mad!
