Just starting to think about getting my festive planning started and I remember lots of people in previous years swearing by Milkshake hair products. Is the shampoo any good, or is there a specific product that's worth trying first? It's for natural blonde straight hair, if that makes any difference.

Looking forward to getting a little bit Christmassy in summer once again 🤶

Marks and Spencer sale is on. So far, I've spotted good deals on some Woodwick candles and, randomly, knitting sets.

@Arthien the Milkshake hair stuff is always noted on the threads complaining about things people wasted money on because of Mumsnet. I bought some and it's awful. Not sure about the shampoo though.

Likewise, bought the milkshake stuff a couple of years ago, it's rubbish. I assume one of the many brands / products that pays people to come onto sites like MN, say favorable things and try to generate sales. As a tactic it can work well, especially if they get a number of their sales people bouncing off each other, creating the illusion of interest in any given product. I'm really cynical these days!

Haha. Definitely. It does smell nice, but definitely not worth the money, even when on offer.

My Sleigh Ride bargain books came today. Absolutely worth the £1.10 paid and then some. Yes, It's a paperback, but it's also beautiful and has pop up bits / flaps. I'd have happily paid a fiver if I'd seen it in a book shop.
