I don't usually go in for matching pjs but House of Fraser have family Christmas sets for £5.99/£3.99 so I have gone for it and ordered some!

I haven't been keeping up with the thread so apologies if this has already been shared:

Thank you for the amazon lego book. A couple arrived today and they will make great class birthday presents! Thanks again!

yellowscissors · 22/05/2024 22:07

Has anyone spotted the Lego Pyramid of Giza on offer anywhere? It’s £120 rrp and CCC says it regularly drops to around £90-£100 so I don’t really want to pay more than £100. Cheapest I’ve found is £108 from a site that looks decent but it’s still a bit too much (for half a pyramid - you need two if you want a complete one!).

Asda have this lego in store reduced from £25 to £12. They also have a voucher on rewards for £2 off toys when you spend £10. I got 2 which I've put away, so paid £22 for the 2 and then also got £4 back in rewards as apparently they're a star product so they work out at £9 each.

Thank you @Tamtam86 I've just ordered a full set of the reindeer pj's for this Christmas. My dd7 has wanted matching ones for a the past couple of years but they are so expensive usually so I've managed to get all 4 for £28 plus delivery - very happy with that!!

Thanks for this code, I’ve been wanting to buy a few pairs for my DD and this has really helped.

Have you used them before? I’m just wondering what they’re like for sizing. My DD hasn’t started yet, she’s 13 so was thinking of getting a pair for when she’s ready.

Daimyum · 26/05/2024 11:08

Check your local council. I managed to get a lot of washable period supplies from the council for free. I'm sure the same used to apply for washable nappies

Yalz · 26/05/2024 11:58

Thank you @stimpy1 . I have ordered a pair of the Modibodi briefs.

I already have quite a lot of Modibodi pants and, be warned, they do tend to run big - not so much as the 8, 10, 12... sizing but the fit of the briefs themselves. For example, the midi ones are about as high as M&S full briefs. My favourite are the sensual high waist briefs, which pretty much provide full coverage for me.

Laithwaites are doing their 4 mini bottles of wine for £6 offer again that was very popular in the run up to last Christmas. I suspect they will be consumed long before they can be gifted for Christmas, but still a good bargain 😁

Just seen this book on another site and ordered for my soon to be 4 year old down to £1.10 and great reviews https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/1526632217/ref=sw_img_1?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&psc=1

Wow. That does look like a bargain. (I thought at first it was going to be a link to the ubiquitous Wintertide bear) I've ordered two. One for my cousins little boy and a spare for donating to a children's charity.

Christmas shopping has begun!
