I have a despatch email from Evri so at least half of my HoF is due out this week.

hby9628 · 05/02/2024 19:11

@BeADinosaur those funky pops are amazing! Great find.

hby9628 · 05/02/2024 20:13

I just popped to boots to see what was in the 70% off. Our local one is quite small but I got a Phillip Kingsley hair care set for my DD for £11.40 which looks quite nice and a couple of bath bomb/bubble bath sets

Thinking I should have got a hair care set for my mum so might pop back tomorrow.

ruralwanderer · 06/02/2024 07:35

I had an email overnight from Smiggle advertising an extra 20% off the sale prices so stocked up for the kids friends' birthdays (lots of 5 piece stationery sets for £20 which look like they'd split well to make multiple birthday gifts) as well as 5 items for £5 which include scissors, rulers and rubbers as well as funky pens.

Asda george website has the Lego Minecraft Crafting box 4.0 reduced further to £31.50 today, it was reduced to £45 when I looked yesterday. That's a large 50% off RRP.

Thanks so much. Have ordered this for DS birthday next month.

psuedocream3 · 06/02/2024 11:18

@NameChange30 You're welcome, the cheapest it's ever been is £45 on Amazon. I bought one too as it's minecraft lego is rarely ever reduced that low, I was on a buying ban but couldn't turn down this bargain.

There probably is other further reductions on there, but I haven't looked.

NameChange30 · 06/02/2024 11:31

I'm always reluctant to buy Lego as it's so expensive but DS will love it. Looks like RRP is £65 so a real bargain! Thanks again.

It looks as though all my HoF order has been processed. Now have to explain to my husband why we needed two new artificial Christmas trees.

Mine are out for delivery too! Lots of oodies and jumpers including the dogs!

Pixie2015 · 07/02/2024 17:26

All my HOF haul came - impressed with the £2.50 Christmas jumpers very soft - same for pyjamas- need to stop shopping as running out of storage 😂

OhRightyThen · 07/02/2024 17:42

My HoF haul came today too, I got all of my items. I resisted the oodies and jumpers as I have already stashed family ones from the Asda George sale! But I stocked up on loads of wrapping paper, tags, cards, a wooden toy cake stand (£7) and weighing scales (£6), a wooden toddler game (£5), some goalie gloves (£3.50!) and two people pig trapper sun hats for this summer (only 50p!), a Chewbacca mission fleet toy (£3), 3m of outdoor icicle lights (for £3.50). so impressed, I only spent £35 incl delivery. Thanks so much for the tip, I'm putting it on my radar for next year

WillYouPutYourCoatOn · 07/02/2024 18:13

Mines arrived. Biba dressing gown is enormous. Hoodie is awful. Kids jumpers are good. Barbour joggers are good. Haven't looked at the Christmas bits yet, don't want to unwrap with DC about

hiredandsqueak · 08/02/2024 10:27

Half of my HOF has arrived but the second half is out for delivery today. Have the pyjamas, reindeer hoodie and Santa slippers and for the price I am really happy with everything. Expecting wrapping paper and crackers later today just need to find a place to stash them now.

ImplodingKitten · 08/02/2024 14:46

Anyone know if HoF have got any of their sale items in-store?

Ladybird69 · 08/02/2024 22:29

Hi thanks to this thread I bought some bits from hamleys for 70% off. I left it in the basket for a couple of hours and they sent me an email with an extra 5% off code 😁 it’s worth a shot if you’re after something and it’s free delivery for over £35 spend.

TheGriffle · 09/02/2024 09:08

Does anyone know the best/cheapest way to get a basic Pandora or Pandora style bracelet please?

Think my nearly 11 year old would love one. I want it to be sterling silver though so been put off by the cheaper silver plated ones.

Clucket87 · 09/02/2024 09:17

Just had an email from The Entertainer to say you can get an extra 10% off reduced toys at the moment with code Extra10.

Valid until midnight on the 13th Feb.

Hope it helps.

Dee1224 · 09/02/2024 11:29

@TheGriffle - if you set up a Pandora account, they sometimes have sales and/or very good deals online.

The Pandora shops sometimes have good deals such as: buy a bracelet, get a charm free, etc.

Coming up to Valentine’s Day may or may not be the best time to look for deals, but Pandora do these promotions every now and then, so it’s worth keeping an eye out.

You could also have a look on eBay for genuine secondhand Pandora bracelets. (If you were to buy a fake in error, you would be able to force a return/refund through eBay).

OkyDoke · 09/02/2024 12:22

There's a free Sylvanian bride and groom on Sylvanian Store Keepers on orders over £35 this weekend if anyone is looking for birthdays etc.

psuedocream3 · 10/02/2024 11:37

Thank you @Pixie2015 and others for pointing out the HoF sale. Usually I avoid them as it's part of the Sports Direct group (Fraser Group) and I dislike their companies. However after seeing orders arriving as expected I took the plunge.

Everything arrived unbroken and very well packaged, some fantastic bargains including a big gift hamper for £4.99 amongst other things.

Best bargain was a complete surprise. I ordered a Goo Jit Zu figure for my sons stocking for £3.00, usually around £6.00. What arrived was actually the Heroes of Goo Jit Zu Stretch And Strike Thrash Mobile Playset RRP £39.99 and it's massive
Just linking what I ordered here...

fishfingersandchipsagain · 10/02/2024 11:42

Thanks @psuedocream3 that might just tip me over the edge to placing an order, as I could order a couple and put them away for next years toy drive.

What was the hamper?

psuedocream3 · 10/02/2024 11:48

@fishfingersandchipsagain Sorry the gift hamper is out of stock now, but they seem to be updating stock in the afternoons, so it's worth keeping an eye out to see what gets added.

I'm tempted to buy another few Goo Jit Zu thrash mobiles for party presents!

Ewock · 10/02/2024 12:11

Sorry this is probably a stupid question, but how are you finding the reduced items of HoF? Thanks

psuedocream3 · 10/02/2024 12:40

@ewock I'm not going to be much help, I just search Christmas, xmas, gift, food etc.

I'm sure there must be a better way, but I havent found it, Hopefully someone else will be able to advise.
