15% off paddy and Scott’s coffee with code WITH LOVE

Sports Direct have an Adidas rain jacket for £28 which was (allegedly) £280 - plus other daily deals here

My February mission is to sort out my frizzy mop of hair - if anyone sees any decent Kerastase prices it would be much appreciated, it seems to be the only brand which successfully tames my frizz!

Yalz · 02/02/2024 10:58

Boots has 70% off some of their sale stock. It’s mostly gift things which are reduced that much.

There’s a Peppa Pig advent calendar reduced from £30 to £9, which contains hair accessories so won’t go off by next December.

Flubadubba · 02/02/2024 18:29

This looks like a pretty good bargain- down to £5.62. Pretty sure it's £28 elsewhere.

@VeruccaSalty Thank you for Smiggle tip! I've picked up some water blasters, handheld water spritz and light up skip counter to pop.away for summer birthday. I also picked up a light up yoyo, spy pen, glow in dark hair chalks and a light up bookmark for stocking fillers.

@Pixie2015 the adults ones are £3 but kids sizes are £8.99 😩

fishfingersandchipsagain · 03/02/2024 22:01

Thanks for that @Pixie2015 There’s some good bargains on craft wrapping paper (25p for 5m) crackers (£2) and a few other bits.

I don’t suppose anyone knows of a free delivery code? I’m only looking to spend another £5.

Sallylovesdaisy · 04/02/2024 11:40

Has anyone had problems with postage charges for House of Fraser? They're trying to charge me £19.99 oversized delivery! I can't change it, no matter what I do. Haven't ordered anything big. Argh

Theimpossiblegirl · 04/02/2024 12:18

I've just fallen down a house of Fraser rabbit hole. Worth the £19.99 postage for the Christmas trees and front door wreath arch thing.

Also got new runners for me.

Shit. Me too! Despite having enough wrapping paper for life, I've bought 5 rolls of Kraft wrapping paper and 4 packs of tags I do need tags; so that's something.

You will have ordered something "big" . I ummed and ahhed over one of those £12 Christmas trees because the quality looks questionable, then thought, oh it's only £12 I'll have it.

The £19.99 delivery charge soon made me take it out. I have spent about £75. Biba dressing gown down to £38, Barbour joggers down to £14, some racing style hoodie down to £13, then the rest on crackers (seem a bargain at £2) and the 25p wrap, tags, cards etc. Oh and next year's Christmas jumpers for DTwins at just £1.50 each. Let's see what it's like when it all turns up.

Had to remove certain things I don't need, and was just buying for the sake of it, but there are Christmas kids duvet sets at £1.50 (I've already got them some, so really didn't need another set) pass the pudding game at 50p, Christmas PJ's and Christmas adult clothing, which was all super cheap but looked super cheap.

We are hopefully moving and DH is losing the plot, "will you stop buying more shit we have to move!" So I was as restrained as possible 😤

BeADinosaur · 04/02/2024 15:37

Harry Potter Funko Pops are down to £3 from £12 in Tesco.

Good for stocking fillers? Got 4 for £12 instead of £48 for DDs birthday.

@WillYouPutYourCoatOn Thank you, I took out the 30cm tree, and that was the culprit...would still be ok, but it's the principal isn't it? Just can't bring myself to pay that amount. Going back in to see what else I can find.

nickdrakeslovechild · 04/02/2024 22:22

I can't work out what is making HoF giving me the oversized delivery. I have a couple of small dog jumpers and socks!

nickdrakeslovechild · 04/02/2024 22:36

Got it down to 4.99 https://www.houseoffraser.co.uk/brand/studio/adults-family-reindeer-snuggle-hoodie-684929#colcode=68492901 these are worth £2 for a bargain christmas oodie. Thanks for the heads up @Pixie2015

LadyPene · 04/02/2024 22:37

Also fell down the HoF rabbit hole, I ordered quite a stash of stuff and got charged £4.99 delivery. Some crazy cheap Christmas stuff (tealight set 75p, wrapping paper 25p (including plain green for birthdays), unscented candle set £1.25), some bits for upcoming birthdays (adidas toiletry set £2.25, wine glasses, placemats) and a few bits I'd been after that didn't arrive from santa at xmas (measuring spoons, make up). Pleased I checked this thread, and to have made a start on some bits and bobs.

hiredandsqueak · 05/02/2024 08:29

Another caught in the House of Fraser rabbit hole. Ordered Christmas pyjamas, a Christmas snuggle hoodie for dd, wrapping paper, crackers (quantity rather than quality where grandson is concerned) Thank you for the heads up @Pixie2015

SomeFiggyPudding · 05/02/2024 09:54

Another thanks to @Pixie2015 , my mum and I have just stocked up on wrapping paper, tags and crackers for a bargain price! So pleased. I may also have ordered Christmas jumpers for the dogs 😂
I’m also chuffed because I’ve felt the January bargains haven’t been anywhere near as good as last year, so it’s nice to have snagged some goodies.

Famousthehero · 05/02/2024 11:42

I’m trying to resist checking House of Fraser… they did a mega cheap sale of organic baby clothes a few years ago, I paid the £5 delivery and then loads of what I’d ordered ended up being out of stock. Clearly I’m not over it.
Hope their stock control has improved, fingers crossed for everyone 🤞

NoWordForFluffy · 05/02/2024 12:26

I did think that, @Famousthehero. I'll be very annoyed if I get, say, one roll of paper and I've paid a fiver in postage!

Theraffarian · 05/02/2024 16:23

I’m also holding out on HOF , it looks tempting , but I’ve been caught out by studio charging the postage too many times before and then having loads of stuff out of stock . Crossing my fingers you all get what you’ve ordered . I’m off to chase Fiorelli over a bag that I ordered 10 days ago that they haven’t dispatched or refunded 😔
