I’ve still got:

A whole Christmas cake & 6 mince pies (Got friends coming for a coffee this afternoon so hoping I can ply them with some of it).

Enough leftovers from Christmas dinner for dinner tonight and breakfast tomorrow (turkey, ham, veg, pigs in blankets)

SO MUCH CHEESE.

Nearly everything except Christmas lunch as DD and I spent most of last night being ill Sad. So much cheese and chocolate, meant to be having venison today but not sure I can face it! Apart from Christmas Day lunch and a turkey sandwich last night I've not eaten any Christmas food!

EasyLifer · 27/12/2023 12:25

Lots!

Turkey, ham, veg, sausage rolls, pate, cheeses, nuts, crisps, pickles, stollen, chocolates etc.

Will do turkey and bubble n squeak today and all 3 of us in the house are off work til new year so plenty of time to get through it!

EmptyYoghurtPot · 27/12/2023 13:54

We just left mum’s after spending Christmas and have come away with
Grapes
Mince pies
Cheese
Whole Christmas pud
chocolates
cheese
cheese
cheeeeeeeese

There may be some other bits as she was just chucking stuff in the cool bag! At least we won’t starve if the M6 is jammed.

mondaytosunday · 27/12/2023 14:35

Turkey, some stuffing, veggies. If I'd known about the veggies they would have gone well with our Boxing Day dinner (I'm not in my own house). Quite a bit of Christmas cake but that's mainly because I'm the only one who seems to like it.

Ewoklady · 27/12/2023 14:38

Just made a curry from the turkey for the freezer. Did a top up shop there this morning (veg milk etc)

we have mince pies and a Christmas pud. Alcohol. Selection boxes and a bit of cheese

Theoldwoman · 27/12/2023 14:39

Half a pavlova
Half a ham
Bit of turkey
Fancy cheeses

Vroomfondleswaistcoat · 27/12/2023 14:39

Was at youngest daughter's for Christmas/Boxing day but home now. There's a lot of nibbles left, peanuts, crisps, cheese (why did I buy so much cheese? There was only me and DD1 here on Christmas Eve and she doesn't eat dairy!). There's no meat or cake, but a fridgeful of double cream...

And I'm back at work today. In a supermarket. What am I going to do? (Salad planned for dinner tonight when I get home, because I found some pate behind all the cheese and cream).

shellyleppard · 27/12/2023 14:40

Mince pies, Christmas pud, cold sausage rolls and still a box of Christmas biscuits!!!

SugarCookieMonster · 27/12/2023 14:43

I sliced and froze the leftover turkey breast then added the legs to a pie for dinner yesterday.
Made a double batch of gravy and froze half.
Made less veg this year so we ended up with just the right amount on the day.
Cooked the ham yesterday so that’s in the fridge now for picking at.
Bit of cheese and crackers left for tonight.
Have a rib of beef ready to cook for dinner tomorrow night with the last of the herbs and veg and going to use my frozen gravy.
A few tubes of unopened Pringles, nuts and boxes of chocolates we can graze on over the next few weeks.
Have some leftover mince pies in the freezer which I’ll bring out over the next few days.
I opened the Yule log and cream yesterday so that’ll be dessert for the next few days.

I was much more careful about what I was buying and when it would be used this year. For the first time ever I feel like I got the balance right, enough bits to graze on without having waste.

Hobbesmanc · 27/12/2023 14:45

We have enough savoury left overs for a Christmas hash tonight with onion gravy that I'm making now. Had to do a quick Coop run as we were low on milk and had no tonic!

We've plenty of booze and lots of cheese. Plus a huge pannetone that I'm not sure we will fit in before the January 2nd big purge.

GoodVibesHere · 27/12/2023 14:53

A pudding
A whole Xmas cake
Cheeses, crackers, chutneys
Turkey (will make curry)
Cream
Profiteroles
Chocolates
A box of shortbread
Stollen
Mince pies
Smoked salmon

DrunkenKoala · 27/12/2023 15:13

Turkey and ham which is currently in the freezer and I’m going to make a pie for NYD.
Loads of cheese (my Camembert doesn’t run out until mid Jan so I’m going to have that on NYE).
Christmas cake - although that’s normal and we normally finish it in Jan.
Half a Christmas pudding.
Yule log.
Mince pies - due to unforeseen circumstances DD and I never got round to making them on Christmas Eve morning so we’re going to make them this weekend for NY.
Loads of cream.
Biscuits, crisps and chocolates.

Doublerainbow23 · 27/12/2023 15:15

Absolutely loafs! We don't start eating Christmas food until Christmas eve so we're not sick of it yet! We keep going til new year's day then back to normal 🙂

baubl · 27/12/2023 15:18

Some ham that we are having for dinner with leftover cauliflower cheese
A variety of cheese
Some home made mince pies
A few brownies
Box of shortbread
Chocolates

AuntieMarys · 27/12/2023 15:18

Lots of cheese
3 pots of brandy cream
That is it.

Whataretheodds · 27/12/2023 15:21

Ooh I wish I had Christmas cake! I love having a piece on a wet afternoon like today. With a cup of tea and a piece of wensleydale or cheddar.

Snackpocket · 27/12/2023 15:22

So much chocolate!!

Olika · 27/12/2023 15:28

Nothing 😂

Crikeyalmighty · 27/12/2023 15:29

Mainly alcohol - my H has had covid from Xmas Eve and so had to cancel people and had far too much food and booze- managed to palm some off on our son who was already here and I've frozen the party food .

So really just left with an excess of salad, cheese and booze and nibbles ( but these keep)

MyBigFatGreekSalad · 27/12/2023 15:30

2 boxes of mince pies (I'll probably give these away as they won't get eaten now)

Lots of veg and potatoes which we are going to use for bubble and squeak and soup

Some cheese and crackers

SO much chocolate

A whole Christmas pudding

AdoraBell · 27/12/2023 15:32

Cheese
Ham
Mince Pies
Panettone
Christmas cake
Small amount of turkey
Chocolate

wineandmaltesershappyme · 27/12/2023 15:33

Turkey, even after making a curry. It's going in a pasta meal tonight
Bacon (from making pigs/boxing day breakfast) that's going in a risotto and bubble and squeak
So much cheese! We were so full on Christmas Day no one ate any
Box of 9 mini mince pies
Christmas crisps

Dillane · 27/12/2023 15:37

They keep for ages, or freeze it.

CurlewKate · 27/12/2023 15:39

An amazing quantity of cheese!! We bought some and got two unexpected cheese presents.

Titsywoo · 27/12/2023 15:44

Not loads but we didn't host so didn't buy huge amounts. A fair bit of cheese which DD and I will get through over the next few days (anything else will be grated and frozen). A small amount of roast dinner stuff - I just had 2 yorkshires stuffed with leftover veg and gravy for lunch so that'll all be finished soon too. Plus leftover crumble which is the next two days puddings 😋
