I’ve still got:

A whole Christmas cake & 6 mince pies (Got friends coming for a coffee this afternoon so hoping I can ply them with some of it).

Enough leftovers from Christmas dinner for dinner tonight and breakfast tomorrow (turkey, ham, veg, pigs in blankets)

SO MUCH CHEESE.

Broccoli cheese

Half a gammon
Loads of toasties and parsnips
Box of Turkish delight
Large tub coleslaw
Unopened Xmas cake ( gift)
Half a Xmas cake
8 mince pies
10 cupcakes
1 portion choc orange trifle
Box cheese biscuits
Half a veggie haggis.

festivetinseling · 27/12/2023 16:13

Cheese. But I like cheese, so not a problem!
Half a Christmas pudding.
Some turkey and ham, which is being made into a pie later.
Christmas cake, which we will start as soon as we finish the last of the Yule log.
Smoked salmon - but that is in the freezer anyway, ditto some sausage rolls.
A few biscuits.
Pringles.
Enough boxes of chocolates to sink the titanic.

LadyMacbethWasMisunderstood · 27/12/2023 16:20

Lots of cheese, two thirds of my Christmas cake, a whole chocolate cake, one pack of sausage meat, a jar of mincemeat,

BeansOnToast32 · 27/12/2023 16:25

Pretty much everything we bought, I've been poorly with no appetite at all. Made Xmas day/Boxing day meal but I couldn't manage to eat much of it. Still got loads of chocolate, nuts, crisps, biscuits, box of Festive Bakewells and Mince Pies then we got extra chocolates as Xmas gifts.

familyissues12345 · 27/12/2023 16:32

Cheese, a bit of Yule log, bit of trifle, more cheese..

DH is just making a Turkey curry!

Beargrumps22 · 27/12/2023 16:32

gingerbread again a gift not to my liking so oh will eat that
Quality street about half a tub
bottle wine again oh will see that off

WombatBombat · 27/12/2023 16:50

Hoping we can use the rest of the turkey and lamb tonight with leftover veg. Got a ham to then make tomorrow with more veg.

I’ve still got about 4-5 cheese unopened and another 3-4 that are opened. Hummus and sour cream dip not opened.

DH is going to make a birthday pavlova this week instead of a cake to use up cream and fruit. Trifle bits still to use up and a couple of those boxes of bite size cakes.

4 boxes of chocolates unopened, two bags of nuts, about 5-6 big bags of crisps. Freezer full of lamb, bacon, pigs in blankets and party food.

With the exception of fruit, veg and milk, I’m not doing a food shop in January.

MintJulia · 27/12/2023 16:57

Ham, cheese, roast potatoes, red cabbage.

There's a little smoked salmon and plenty of salad & coleslaw.

Ginger ice cream, a tiny xmas pud and ds has a stack of chocolate.

AltheaVestr1t · 27/12/2023 17:07

A lot as the kids have decided they don't want it. Is it ok to deal with the turkey tomorrow?!

mamaduckbone · 27/12/2023 17:21

Not too much...a bit of ham, the scrappy bits of turkey which I'll use for pie, smoked salmon, some crisps/nuts/chocolates and pretty much all of the cheese. Oh, and mince pies, gingerbread, Christmas rocky road and Christmas cake. So actually yes, lots. But grazing through all those bits between now and new year is the best part!

Pollyparkin · 27/12/2023 17:25

Loads but happily grazing still
Turkey is all frozen now for various meals in Jan. Just made desserts to take to. Party tomorrow (forgot to put cocoa in brownies. Does anyone know if they'll be ok?)
Loads of cheese but I'm more than happy to substitute cheese for meals

TiredOfSayingItAgain · 27/12/2023 17:27

Mixed nuts
Shortbread and biscuits selection
Pringles
Pork pie

Lindy2 · 27/12/2023 17:29

The leftover turkey is now turkey and veg pies in the freezer.

We have lots of cheese and honestly so many boxes of chocolates and biscuits, there's hardly room to store them. Everyone seems to have given us sweet stuff as presents this year.

Hopefully some will have long use by dates on them if they're not opened.

Spacemoon · 27/12/2023 17:32

Not too much as sent MIL home on boxing day morning with most of the dinner left overs. So we just have a heap of cheese, chutney, crackers and chocolate to get through! Oh and half a massive Christmas cake! The booze will all be used up for NYE.

Hedjwitch · 27/12/2023 17:35

Pannetone. Will be ok toasted as it goes stale.
Christmas puddings
Turkey carcass frozen for soup later
Smoked salmon.
Paté
Another day of leftovers today should see us through most of the stuff.

gocompare · 27/12/2023 17:48

All kinds of cheese.
Macrons
Bit of roast left which I'm having in a bit

JL690 · 27/12/2023 18:00

I have practically a whole turkey crown left. It didn't thaw out in time to be cooked on Christmas day - just as well I had a back up - then didn't cook all the way through on Boxing day in the time it said on the wrapper, so it was another standby meal so we could eat in time for going out while the turkey continued to cook in the oven. It's put me right off turkey now.

thedementedelf · 27/12/2023 18:04

I have a little bread and Camembert thing from Aldi left but everything else got eaten.

Pineapplewaves · 27/12/2023 18:31

Loads but I did one big shop and bought enough food to last until 2 Jan, plenty left for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Anything left after that will go into packed lunches.

EnglishSpringerSpanielMum · 27/12/2023 18:33

Plenty turkey and ham left so will do ham, turkey and cheese quesadillas tomorrow. Made turkey, ham and stilton pie yesterday that did us for dinner and then lunch today.

Masses of cheese but we have friends coming over on Friday for 3 nights so we'll get through it.

LenaLamont · 27/12/2023 18:39

2 mince pies and 120g of stilton. Everything else has been eaten.

Quiregirl · 27/12/2023 18:41

A concerted effort at lunchtime saw the rest of the ham eaten as well the roasties and left over veg. There is a bag of turkey now in the freezer. Half a leg of lamb is waiting in the fridge to become a curry tomorrow. We still have enough cheese and crackers to sink a battleship plus several boxes of Christmas biscuits and chocolates, 1 and 0.9 Christmas puddings, cream, mince pies, 0.8 Christmas cake. LOADS of booze. two cartons of cherry sauce to go with the 2 kilos of Scandinavian rice pudding dessert. A weak effort this year, brought on by us all being slightly under the weather. Luckily we have guests arriving for New Year who will help us gladly clear some of this.

RandomUsernameHere · 27/12/2023 19:03

Chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate
Biscuits
Cake
Candy canes
Cheese biscuits

DelilahBucket · 27/12/2023 19:10

Some cheeses, a couple of half pots of pate, crackers, enough turkey for sandwiches tomorrow and then it will be thrown into a pasta dish for tea, a ham, various crisps and some dips, a selection of party foods in the freezer and lots of booze. The latter two will keep. We've made decent inroads with a picky tea and used up the brie, streaky bacon, some puff pastry and most of the cranberry sauce in some pinwheel things I made.
To be fair the fridge wasn't full this year. I made a huge effort to buy less.
