I wonder whether I'm the only one who can't look on these threads til after Christmas because I find them overwhelming 😆 the posts about everyone's families on the day are giving me reminders of my past big family Christmas times though and that's just lovely.

DD nearly 2 biggest hit was playmobil that I brought after seeing the sale on here so thank you.
Anyone else looking for ideas her other big hits were:

• a tea set (brought by of all people a man I work with who has never met her!)
• paint sticks
• lidl play birthday cake
• a wooden board with a cupcake on it for doing playdough etc
• a cuddly rabbit

Just as an FYI if wrapping money round them make sure it doesn't nearly get thrown away with the wrapping like a couple of the teenagers nearly did!!

The men's beauty boxes went down well as did the look fantastic one. The oodies which were £15 each and mine craft were hit and miss and did smell odd so have gone in the wash. The cooling towels were a huge hit and they worked, dc loved them. The bargain Havianas and fossil sunglasses also went down well. I got my hotel chocolat and we enjoyed them yesterday! Thanks all.

The lock picking set, Japanese sweets and hexbugs went down very well here. Facebook reminded me of the personalised coke bottles from this thread 9 years ago- anyone else remember them? 😂

For the the people who bought the drawing tablets like wacom. What software are they using on laptops to go with it. My DD is currently using paint is that right or is there something better she can use?

Big thanks to the poster who noticed the bargain hoverboards at Argos. The kids hadn't asked for them but always enjoyed going on them in the lessons on holiday so thought I'd give it a go. Massive success.

Bargains and money-off hacks were appreciated more than ever, especially with fewer deals on the ground than before. I was able to give some nice presents to those I love and wanted to treat. See you all in about 10 months' time
