I’ve been dithering since the original Claires posts and have just done an order for some 2024 birthdays…and some bits for myself.

I'm still on the fence 😬 I think if I had girls to buy for, I'd happily get a couple of sets of lashes for me, and girly bits for future birthdays. Alas, I've got boys.

I might look for some party bag fillers. I just feel like my eyes have ran a marathon for the length of time they've been pounding the streets of the claire's website 🤣

M&S have some good bargains in their sale - especially home items like lighting. Not particularly festive but nice for the new year?

My daughters are 15 and 11 so either end. Mine love a squishmallow or cute cuddly toy (palm pals are super soft kind of like jellycats but cheaper), lip balms (claires had slush puppy ones), jewellery (youngest sparkly/cutsie and eldest gothic), their scrunchies are really good, I quite like the clips too. My youngest likes the false nails, I've got cracking effect nail varnish for my eldest. Pop socket thing for their phones. Drinks bottle. Keyring each for their bags. My eldest loves the novelty earrings, my youngest gets the clip on ones as she doesn't have hers pierced yet.

I spend way too much money in claires, its one shop they both really like and are both guaranteed to find something they like in.

I couldn't even get the 10% code Claire's gave me to work on their website!

Morning all: I woke up at 5.15am and found myself shopping in the M&S sale. I then iced my Xmas cake, so am now exhausted, (still recovering from Covid, although negative now, thank goodness).

Off to Dobbie’s in a minute as I need two mini pots for my Xmas cacti, (a Lidl bargain from a couple of weeks ago), as they are flowering beautifully but still in their plastic bags! If I see any bargains, I will report back.

@doctorboo you'll be pleased to learn I persisted and finally made a claire's order 😀 3 lashes for me, one as a stocking filler for my SIL, and then 2 little Teddy bears - one for my new baby niece/nephew once they arrive, and one for their older brother. Discount code + £5 reward means I got all that for £9.

Thanks everyone who suggested PayPal and a different browser, that did the trick.

Apparently the princess nail set on my Claire’s order is out of stock so only the face mask in stock for that order. Managed to do another one and ordered DD an across body rainbow bag instead. £12 but got it for £2

A post-Christmas stocking filler if such a thing exists - the Pat McGrath website has 30% off everything, even things already reduced. So some of the Mattetrance lipsticks are reduced from £36 to £12 and now they're further reduced to £8.40 with free delivery. This is the brand Taylor Swift uses so nice for the Swiftie in your life 😂 I had already bought Fever Dream when it was £12 and just bought Rouge 8

Ah sorry about that! It says 30% sitewide and automatically applied to my basket so thought it would be, you know, site wide 😂 I'd decided I was going for it at £12 so the extra was a nice aurprise

@PlanBea I also caved as I love her make up but it's so expensive. The other lipstick and an eyeshadow I got ended up being reduced, though, so win on that front!

Do you have a link? I was looking for the Christmas ones yesterday but couldn’t find them in their train-wreck of a website.

I checked mine and had the right bracelets but the animal card was wrong for one; I emailed with photos and they emailed me the tracking link info for the animal.
