@PiningForTheMoon My son saw this (or similar) on tv last week and we sourced two (brand new) on vented for £10 each. I appreciate they wouldn’t arrive before Christmas now but maybe an option if your son can wait and for £10 it doesn’t matter too much if it’s not as good as expected.

I was in Tesco yesterday (for food) but wandered by the gifting section and almost all gifts were half price (all the novelty bits etc). There were games, gift sets, light up things…practically everything (lots of Harry Potter things) I ended up with a basket full 🙄. Lots of things would be great for birthdays throughout the year. Went to a second Tesco and same deal so must be all stores. Some real bargains to be had. Also I think previous mention, the blind bags (small themed toys) were half price too which who’ll be great for children’s table Christmas cracker.

Re the chuckling cheese company. I had the mouse email yesterday too, and have just had a dispatch email now. It says sent at 9:26 today via Evri Next Day. Fingers crossed! For those who have had delivery, does it look like nice stuff?

Tesco have the slushie machines on sale with club card for £17.50 instead of £35 which is the cheapest I've seen anywhere

My chuckling cheese order was delivered to the recipient's recycling box today. Hopefully it's still there when they return! I'd love to see a picture of anyone else's to see what it looks like. I ordered the cheese king gift box

Anyone collecting Claires orders from store, make sure you check your order before leaving. I've been charged for items that they haven't put in the bag. I don't think I've ever had an order without issues with them though.

Not a bargain (although it was £12.99 which I thought was pretty good) but I just bought a huge nutcracker balloon from the local card and balloon shop. It’s bloody massive, caused lots of chuckles as I galloped along with it against the wind!

2 blokes told me not to blow away with it and one lad laughed and said where the hell are you going to hide that! Feeling very festive now 😂

I agree that there hasn’t been as many bargains this year as previous years but I have managed to get a few presents ticked off with the Laithwaits offers. I also got the sock advent bargain for DH.

Thank you to everyone on this thread - first year for me as well. Biggest bargain for me was the 26 pairs of Whitestuff socks for about £1 each. But i also got the half price smores, valentte black Friday boxes, bean cans you can hide valuables in, huge stacking discounts from Hot Diamonds and some great aftershave sets for the teen boys in my family.
