Just wondering if anyone received or gifted one of the heater throws mentioned on here; that they would recommend? Thank you

We gifted my parents a Sleepynight heated throw and I’ve had to send it back. It was left on by accident, but the safety switch didn’t work (it was supposed to turn it off after two hours for that reason). It was noticed a while later, and it was extremely hot. They were very fortunate it didn’t cause a fire.

Beckafett · 28/12/2023 20:24

@HeartandSeoul oh gosh that's scary thanks for letting me know. I've found a dreamland one in Argos for £60 and I've a £30 gift card I can use from work there so think I'm going for that.

Has anyone managed to get this to work? It doesn’t take anything off for me.

These Jurassic world dinos are currently £10.83 for 4, one review says they were previously £50 something. Think they come loose in a box though

This Unicorn jewellery box currently only £6 which is the best I’ve seen (usually £19 and comes down to around £10)

Thanks for this, that will be perfect for DN. I’ve also got a smaller mermaid one for DD for 8.99 with a 50% voucher that was on there.

Anyone who knows a batman lover or collects funko pops this one is £5 at the moment

Has anyone ever used those site where you can sell unwanted vouchers. I got a Lego voucher for an event and despite loving Lego, I really don't need anymore and would rather the cash.

Fuckingfuckssake · 29/12/2023 21:52

Hey hey, was there a code for Notino?

Someaddedsugar · 30/12/2023 18:58

It'll probably vary by location but I've been to a few Sainsbury's shops in the north east and they're all selling off the hot water bottles. I've just bought a kids hot water bottle with fluffy bear socks for £4.50 (reduced from £20), a white teddy for £2.40 reduced from £12, a microwaveable hottie for £2.40 reduced from £15 and a load of wrap and gift bags for 60p/£1.25.

Yeah I'm just back from Sainsbury's and also in the NE. Lots of bargains to be had. Got stocking fillers for next year at a quarter of the original price, and packs of 10 Christmas cards for 35p.

fishfingersandchipsagain · 30/12/2023 19:03

Does anyone have a spare Argos code? £70 spend.

I had one expiring tomorrow, but I gave it away thinking I didn’t need it.

I think they send them out in batches, so thought someone on here might also have one 😊

Talisin · 31/12/2023 10:48

Those previously bargainous at £17.50 Clarks Hamble Oaks are down to £22.25 in a handful of sizes today.

LuckyLuckyWoman · 31/12/2023 12:03

Bought a lovely Santa treat jar in Aldi this morning £2.99. Already in the attic storage for next year:)

I'm so pleased it worked for so many others especially on top of the existing offers! I placed several orders too and was surprised to see the rewards vouchers coming through! Just be aware the rewards only last about 2/3 months before they expire, I made that mistake. Thankfully customer service reinstated them for me.

Thank you so much from me too. I have also started receiving rewards for the orders I placed using the discount.

Does anyone know what happens when items aren’t in stock and you’ve used a reward? Do you get the reward voucher back? I’ve used some of my rewards but one of the items isn’t in stock :(

psuedocream3 · 31/12/2023 16:29

@SootspriteSearcher Thanks from me too, I've made some headway on next years stoking fillers which has been a huge help, and my first positive ordering experience from them.

@Ilovepugs2017 I looked it up on their website, if you use your reward and items are out of stock or they are returned, you lose your reward. But, I think if you followed it up with customer services, they may reinstate it.

Has anyone has seen any good bargains on stocking fillers cheap for kids age 3-15? Or Christmas tree decorations, our two year old enjoyed playing with them too much this year and will need some nice ones to replace them.

Someaddedsugar · 31/12/2023 16:29

Dunelm had lots of 50% off Christmas bits when we were in there this morning including kids pjs and some Harry Potter bits and pieces.

Someaddedsugar · 31/12/2023 16:31

@psuedocream3 Sainsburys had the basic coloured ones in at decent prices. Bert line has some gorgeous decs at 20% off. I also saw a few in TKMaxx but assume that'd be hit and miss depending on store stock. Nkuku also have a good sale on but they're at the pricey end still!

Ilovepugs2017 · 31/12/2023 16:33

@psuedocream3 thanks for that. Oh I’m gutted I won’t get the reward back, I have emailed customer services previously about something unrelated to this and they haven’t bothered to get back :(

Does anyone know if they have a number you can contact? Can’t seem to find one on Google

psuedocream3 · 31/12/2023 16:39

Thank you @Someaddedsugar I completely forgot about Dunelm, I will have to have a look this week. And Sainsbury did have some unicorn and dinosaur ones the kids had looked at, will see if they are there too.

Have you tried contacting hem through social media @Ilovepugs2017? I didn't get any reply via their website, but they were quick on Facebook via PM to reply. It's worth asking, they are generally quite helpful when you do manage to get through to them. I'm still awaiting giftcard credit to be put back on, I think I need to chase that too.

Ilovepugs2017 · 31/12/2023 16:54

@psuedocream3 I haven’t tried social media. I’m not on Facebook but I can see if I can get through to them via Instagram
