Thanks @bizzey for the title Xmas Grin

Hope all are well.

In message two are the links and info from last year - if anyone has anything they'd like me to amend or add, please do tag me and I'll update.

Referral codes for lathwaithes wine- I have a 30% and I know there is a link on the referral board.
I want to order 2 hampers and some wine so if anyone knows how best to stack the codes I'd be very grateful.
Every time I think I'm done then I remember how kind people have been this year to me and want to say thank you.

Hi there 😊 could someone please remind me the website where children can make things with moving parts etc? My daughter is 7. She's just had her birthday so I'm kind of stuck on what to get her. Just got everything out to wrap and her sister has so much more! Xxx

Beckafett · 10/12/2023 14:11

I also need the lady who wanted me to post her the animator dolls to send me her address as I can finally post on Tuesday! Well can draft my retired mum into doing so

I've not tried stacking but if that doesn't work , place one order and see if you get offered their Unlimited delivery free (I got 6 months a few weeks back) - just make a diary note to cancel - and if you can only use either the discount off or referral then use the referral on that first order as it's off your first order only then try a second order with the discount you already have if it's a generic code. You'll also have your free delivery already.

Also check both Top Cashback and Airtime rewards as they both worked for me too. I've posted referrals for all of these this am (If your network provider is part of Airtime Rewards that's a great one to do as you only have to connect your cards once and everything happens automatically after)

After months of me ignoring all the AirUp bottle chat, DS2 now wants one 🙄So I have three questions for you experts please:

  1. Having looked at how it works, does it make the water bubbly? He can’t stand fizzy drinks.

  2. Cheapest way to buy one bottle plus the flavour things? I don’t mind getting a knockoff bottle but would get the genuine flavour (scent?) things,

  3. Any flavour recommendations? He generally likes red berry type tastes.

  1. no it’s just water unless you use sparkling water (which some people do with the cola ones)
  2. use a referral code off the referrals thread. The latest ones only give you 10% but if you scroll back further the ones for 20% should still work
  3. my dd likes the peach and the berry ones

Can anyone recommend a gift for my great uncle please, he’s in his 70s and I don’t know him very well. All I know is that he enjoys reading thrillers and crime novels. I’ve got him a book voucher in the past but got the feeling that he was disappointed and would’ve preferred an actual gift, it’s difficult with books though as he might have already read whatever I buy. Other things I’ve bought and have gone down well previously are things like hat, gloves, scarf, socks. Any ideas?

Seasonofthewitches · 10/12/2023 15:45

PS matalan have 30% off their knitwear at the moment. They’ve got some lovely bits that are already really decent prices even before the discount including some pretty Christmas jumpers.

Seasonofthewitches · 10/12/2023 15:46

Oops I should’ve said that the budget for my uncle is £10.

A bit out there maybe, but how about a Cluedo escape room game? You can do them alone I think as well as as a group activity

This Exit the game is £9.99 but defs when we did one it was quite challenging/lateral thinking type stuff so don’t know if that’s his bag

There are some great vintage crime books republished by the British library, the John Bude ones are brilliant if you want one relevant to a specific place in the UK or I can also recommend the Freeman Willis Croft ones. Because they are republished in batches you’ll probably be able to find a recent one that he won’t have read.

I love thrillers and crime novels too and these 2 books are on my Xmas list if it helps. Simon Kernick is a great thriller writer and this is his newest release so hopefully less chance of having it. The wordle book is like a crime themed logic puzzle book which has been recommended to me by loads of people.

Some of these were in the middle of Lidl, so with the 50% off in store would only be £5 - if you're going real life shopping and have a Lidl nearby

HELP please!!! Not sure if I imagined it or not??

I'm sure thread or two back... (it's so hard to search on the app), someone said B&M had little boxes of seashell shaped chocolates for less than a pound (79p??)

Been looking in a few and can't find!

Im looking for something less than a £1 to wrap up as bulk presents and these would have been perfect!

Anyone remember? Thanks!
