I bought a couple of things in the Black Friday sales - an amazon stick (I'm pretty sure we couldn't just bought a smart tv by now with the amount we've got through as they break after a year or so) and noise cancelling headphones for DD. Hope you're all getting through the lists - December is fast upon us!

Hi. I'm hoping to get the Lego set of Santa's visit (10293) to start off a Christmas tradition. It's consistently 89.99 in all shops. So far I've seen it on the Lego store, John Lewis, b&q (?!) And Wilko. Does anyone have any discount codes I could try to get the price down... Already spent way too much on Lego for DS...😂

@Moonshine86 I've just bought the 3doodler start from their website. They have a bundle for £35.99 with some extra bits which even with the £4.99 postage makes it the same price as just the pen in Smyths. I have done lots of research and this one consistently gets recommended.

There's a Peep Inside how a plane works -- a board book & factual (I haven't seen that one but the others in the series are great.)

Yes! The most amazing customer services lady got it all sorted for me. I have to say their systems suck but their actual human people … amazing. It took literally hours, and a lot of detailed backwards and forwards and approvals.

Apparently they now realise Apple should have been excluded from the offer, so apologies if I broke it for people, but they honoured it this time.

Farfetch is legitimate- I bought a Self Portrait dress from there a few years ago and it arrived beautifully boxed up. I actually ordered two dresses as I wasn’t sure on sizing- returning one dress was very easy and straight forward with them as well.

@WhereTheresAHill di you have a home bargains near you? You could do this incredibly cheaply there. They have lots of fancy and scented pens etc

@slipperypenguin my dd has this book which is all kinds of silly planes, e.g a banana plane and a poo parachute. It sparks fun conversations about whether a banana could really fly or would you rather have a poo parachute or no parachute. Don’t know what age you’re looking for but kids love it
