Thread 13 - the one with the loot from Black Friday

13 - unlucky for some. Let's hope it's very lucky for us!

I bought a couple of things in the Black Friday sales - an amazon stick (I'm pretty sure we couldn't just bought a smart tv by now with the amount we've got through as they break after a year or so) and noise cancelling headphones for DD. Hope you're all getting through the lists - December is fast upon us!

In message two are the links and info from last year - if anyone has anything they'd like me to amend or add, please do tag me and I'll update.

A reminder not to post affiliate links in the thread but that MN do change amazon links shared by posters into MN affiliate links.

Please do watch the thread rather than post to mark place to make it easier for everyone to keep up and find relevant info.

@buttondown thanks but they have sneakily put postage to £9.95

It was 4.95 when I had one in my basket yesterday

My postage is 19.95!!!

Daijoubudesu · 27/11/2023 14:40

Does anyone have a dunelm code? Cab you please DM me. Thank you

Yeknom · 27/11/2023 14:46

You're welcome @SunflowerBaby - I love the grumpy penguin!!! Glad to have helped after I usually ask so many questions 😁

Gobaith · 27/11/2023 14:49

Would anyone know if any of the big, supermarkets or chain stores, sell Freeze Dried sweets, and Takis please?
I can see them online, but postage seems expensive... Apparently Takis, are available in Iceland, but none in the store near me unfortunately ! Any help would be much appreciated :)

nicky2512 · 27/11/2023 14:50

I was thinking of buying dd and ds a cuddle cushion each. The very offer looks great but could anyone who has one tell me if they would be suitable for adults reading or working sitting on their bed? Or would I need a high backed type like Dunelm have? Thank you.

cottonstar · 27/11/2023 14:50

Thanks for the fahlo help - I’m happy with £12.15 for 2!

xmasfool · 27/11/2023 14:55

Does anyone have an Argos code they won't use? Ds wants (too) expensive Star Wars Lego set.

I have heard good things about the primark ones which are about £7

I second this - my DD who has sensory processing issues won't wear lots of things as they 'feel funny' but loves the Primark fleece leggings.

Not quite what you asked, but I recently bought takis from Amazon. I've been on the lookout for ages for my son to go in a hamper, and other than convenience stores etc where they're really expensive, amazing was definitely the best deal.
Ended up getting 6 bags for £8 delivered as I had a £4 voucher on Amazon and this was definitely the best price I could get.

If anyone is brave enough to risk ordering with Claires, they have 60% off and an extra 25% off stacking code - CM2023, and a free gift on spends over £25.

How do you get the free gift? It isn’t showing up on mine

@Gobaith bit of a long shot that it might be near you but i managed to get two bags of takis in a pop up store in Loughborough as i was over that way for the day. £1.50 a bag of 3 for £5 few different flavours.

bizzey · 27/11/2023 15:38

@Claramay78 have you used any of studio 10 stuff ?
Would love some recommendations!
Please !

redjoker · 27/11/2023 15:53

Anyone seen a good deal on a real xmas tree? I literally want to chop it up for my wreath making so want it cheap and quite frankly it can be ugly! Maybe the supermarkets?

TheGriffle · 27/11/2023 15:54

I found Takis in a WHSmiths convenience shop in a hospital (purple bag, chilli and lime I think, not sure if there are different flavours!) so the bigger store might also have them. They weren’t too expensive I don’t think or I wouldn’t have bought them!

mummydoris2006 · 27/11/2023 15:58

@redjoker for the past three years we've had real trees from Home Bargains for under £15 and they're actually really nice. I think they're are around the same price in B&M too.

Irritatedmum · 27/11/2023 16:03

Is the Emma Bridgewater code working for anyone? I want to make a second order but the code for extra 25% off isn’t working

Yumyumbaronie · 27/11/2023 16:05

Got mine yesterday x

TheGriffle · 27/11/2023 16:10

@redjoker Homebargains have real trees for £10.99 I think they are and they’re good bushy ones (or they are near me anyway!)

Wouldn’t work for me either

If you’re using the £10 one could I bag the £5 one please?

Mytribeof3 · 27/11/2023 16:16

I've probably missed the boat with any Black Friday deals but could anyone recommend decent pans, suitable for use on induction hobs please?

pasinphoebe · 27/11/2023 16:21

@SunflowerBaby can you help me get the discount/s on the Jellycats at all please? You had a great bargain! I can see 25% but that’s all. Signing up seems to have un locked that but that’s all. Thanks so much

When I signed up for an account, a pop up appeared saying if I sign up for marketing I got extra rewards points. So X amount if you sign up for emails, more for texts and more for mail. Then you can redeem the points at check-out. It was £3 something extra off, then if your order is over £20 it's free delivery. Hope that helps!

Youranus · 27/11/2023 16:28

The Ordinary have 23% off all orders until the end of November. Also have free delivery today and a free peptide eye serum worth £19 with all orders using code SLOWMPES. They are very popular with teenagers currently. I’ve managed to get a lash and brow growth serum duo and free eye serum all for £13 delivered.
