Thread 13 - the one with the loot from Black Friday

13 - unlucky for some. Let's hope it's very lucky for us!

I bought a couple of things in the Black Friday sales - an amazon stick (I'm pretty sure we couldn't just bought a smart tv by now with the amount we've got through as they break after a year or so) and noise cancelling headphones for DD. Hope you're all getting through the lists - December is fast upon us!

In message two are the links and info from last year - if anyone has anything they'd like me to amend or add, please do tag me and I'll update.

A reminder not to post affiliate links in the thread but that MN do change amazon links shared by posters into MN affiliate links.

Please do watch the thread rather than post to mark place to make it easier for everyone to keep up and find relevant info.

If you are on 02 there is a code to send four people a packet of Percy Pigs for free, they are being released each day at 9am, so might all be gone for this morning..as I type!

Georgieporgie29 · 26/11/2023 09:46

The north face have 30% off over £175.00 this weekend. Finally managed to get my dh his coat.

also, anybody that knows anything about converse, is there a difference between the eva lift hi boots junior and the all star hi platform junior? They are both the same price and look the same on the photos but not both available in the same places so wondered if it was the same boot with a different name?

Does anyone know if there's a way to get free delivery from Hotel Chocolat for a low spend? We were in there yesterday and DS spotted the chocolate penguins and was pleading with me to get one and I'd love to get him one from Father Christmas but it works out pricey on its own... Maybe I just need to my myself a load of chocolate 😂

A lot of their stuff is on Amazon though it likely won't be discounted. If you've got prime it might work out the same as on the we sit with delivery

@LemonFrosting I tried stacking hot diamonds codes today, 20% doesn't work, the birthday codes don't work, and the 30% black friday code doesnt stack with anything, I missed out on the mega stacking sadly but code BIRTHDAY might work for £15 off, and maybe JEWELS for free delivery.

I've not had a great week, forgot it was black friday, only managed to look properly at the rest of the things on my list, and everything is out of stock! I think I must have dithered too long this year, now I'm starting to worry!

ClaraTheImpossibleGirl · 26/11/2023 10:00

@Beckafett one of the best presents I had from a manager was a handheld milk frother (like this one - but probably cheaper as she had lots of us to buy for!) and some nice coffee/ hot chocolate. It was really useful!

@Someaddedsugar you can get some Hotel Chocolat pieces on Amazon and then would have free delivery with Prime, if there's anything there you were looking at?

@LittleMousewithcloggson please can you let me have a link to mini keyring torch! I’ve looked and can’t find any for that price but would be a fab stocking idea here

I’ve just looked and the rechargeable ones we have aren’t in stock - but have included photo in case you can find them. However we have also used the other 3 in the photos as cracker fillers and they are also very good little lights
They come in packs of 2-18 and work out between £1.50-£2.50 each

Or these ones
They are small but give a good light for finding keyholes and don’t take up too much room on the keys as they are flatter than the others
My DH still has this one from last year as he prefers the size and shape
Could give them 2 each for the price!

I meed help finding a bargain chilli/hot sauce challenge set. Its for a charity challenge at work not Christmas, but I'm hoping you can help x

Not sure if your budget will stretch to £20 but TK Maxx have this one and they've got free click and collect until midnight tomorrow x

Holidayqueen1 · 26/11/2023 10:20

Thanks so much @LittleMousewithcloggson !

TheGirlWhoLived · 26/11/2023 10:20

I’m sure the chilli challenge is something b and m sell most years!

Next have £5 added to your account when you download the app.

For the poster who was worried about Laithwaites, Asda have 4 for 3 on the mini bottles. They start at £2 so works out slightly more expensive £6 for 4 bottles but less worry and you can choose the mix of bottles.

lingmerth · 26/11/2023 10:23

@SootspriteSearcher some great suggestions thank you. It's the 90 year olds that find hard.

Hi! I've been lurking on these threads, any tips on a fancyish hot chocolate, not too sweet?

I usually have a work trip to Belgium each winter and pick some up there but this year the location changed! Generally I find ones that are 'chocolatey bits' are nicer than powders, but open to anything that's good quality and preferably a bit bargainous

Miles hot chocolate is lovely. Not too sweet, it’s really nice.
my daughters a fuss pot hot chocolate connoisseur and it’s their favourite

I am so behind with Christmas shopping this year. I just don’t know where to start.
I was holding out for Black Friday but it didn’t seem very good this year. No massive bargains. 😕

Rainbowshit · 26/11/2023 10:44

Is it worth buying miss Dior directly from Dior for the fancy packaging and engraving?

I'm torn.

Anyone have a Dior discount code?

psuedocream3 · 26/11/2023 10:52

Thank you @Ilovepugs2017 for the gaming headset offer, much better price than I've seen elsewhere.

Disneystore have 30% cashback with topcashback today and works with the extra 10% off code. If you spend over £75 you get a free gift too.

Can anyone suggest table presents for 3 yr old, 3 adults in 30's, 2 in 60's and 2 in their 90's? Got to be cheap!!

I like a biscuit decorated with their name. Original biscuit bakers do personalised ones for about £3 each if you buy 10 or there's always NOTHS.

Dee1224 · 26/11/2023 11:08

Percy Pig offer is still live now on o2. I am not doing it as no one I know would be happy to download the PRSNT app AND go to M&S.

On a related note: I have been with o2 for decades, but have only very recently started using the offers. I have had a free coffee and muffin from Greggs recently and am waiting for the Xmas decoration. Can’t believe I ignored the offers for so long 🙀

Arghh, they have to sign up for the app to get them. I'm not volunteering people for that!

Here's my code (you need to download the Prsnt app to use it): 4q5kgoacxs2c
