I have the following on my list for my just turned 17 year old boy - he won't receive it all but they're ideas under consideration! Would love to see your lists

Theragun (this I have bought already - managed to get one for under £100)

Xbox series X (hoping for another price drop)

iPad - his existing one is 5 years old and used daily

Nike Tech tracksuits / Fred Perry hoodie / Ralph Lauren tracksuit / Nike t shirts / Nike dri fit tracksuits

Fiddle cubes + toys

Home made sweets and crisps hamper

Crimpit

@sep135 Just wondered which bath muscle salts soak you've bought? I've been looking for some for my son for after football/gym

This is where I reveal that I actually work for Crimpit!!!

PS I don't Grin I don't even buy the Warburton 'Thins' very often but I believe you can use normal bread with the crusts cut off.

I've added to my purchases! Well, I've ordered some more bits. Mine also has a birthday in December which is just a double expense really

I've added ...

A Darkrai plush (some Pokémon thing, he's having another Pokémon moment)

Name That Bumhole game (just don't ask)

Light up football

Pokémon Platinum game

@FelicityGraceSpoon seeing as your crimpit recommendation when down so well any recommendation for the light up football??

FelicityGraceSpoon · 19/11/2023 20:19

@Newmum110 try this one ... it's what I ordered and it looks decent. Not 'babyish' and it comes nicely boxed. Reviews very good too

Think I've previously bought Dr Salts (possibly from Waitrose amongst others) but there were some reduced ones at my local garden centre a few weeks ago.

Sorry to those who the thread doesn't suit. MN is for all - those with bigger budgets and those with lower budgets and everyone in between.

And @Changednayme not sure what you want me to say to that! They are expensive things, yes. And?

People are going to put generally the bigger things down on a thread like this. I mean I wouldn't put that I was getting a pair of socks, a notepad, a new set of pens, a compass set etc all from B&Ms.
And the longer lists may well be more than one child.

Bbq1 · 19/11/2023 20:49

Placemarking for just 18 year old
His birthday is September so he got the PS5 then. He's notca huge ganer though.
He hasn't asked for anything so far but we have:

In ear thingy for when he's on stage playing guitar with his band
Tickets to see Slash next year with dad.
Wasp t-shirt
5150 t-shirt
Massive Lynx gym set
Protein treat box
Novelty egg cup
Dairy Milk chunks box
Novelty amp air pods case

Some will be stocking abd some will be sack.

I still have a lot to buy but plenty of ideas. Always look for more ideas though!

alwaysinmyoodie · 19/11/2023 20:55

DS 15

Fred Perry polo shirts
Lyle and Scott polo shirts
Gaming headset
Nike football boots
Sauvage and Versace aftershave

MegBusset · 19/11/2023 21:03

I think there are loads of great options for different budgets on this thread. Nobody’s suggesting everyone should buy everything!

AvengedQuince · 19/11/2023 21:03

DS 17
Driving lessons (we live in a town surrounded by rural areas)
Wilderbee scotch bonnet hot honey
Crimpet
Three hollister t-shirts from vinted

He'll get food/money from family

ollypollymolly · 19/11/2023 21:04

@Blanketpolicy

I have a JBL flip 5 or 6 and it is amazing. Plus an Amazon cheapy case and it gets used all the time.

ollypollymolly · 19/11/2023 21:05

And I got Crimpets !!! Thank you !

Gemi33 · 19/11/2023 13:01

Any suggestions for aftershave/fragrances for 14/15 years old boys?

DS asked for some Nautica Voyage last year and, considering the last "fragrance" he had was probably Lynx, I was surprised and actually really like it

I mean there are some pricey things mentioned on this thread, but a lot of posters have said "this is the list I am looking at" - I don't think ppl are buying everything?

And there are lots of cheaper things that ppl have suggested. My DC usually get one biggish thing (if there s something they want) - for DS2 lately it has been kit for his sport - but then I am always on the lookout for £10-ish items for him to have as surprises - so this thread has been great, many thanks :)

mybrainisfull · 19/11/2023 21:16

laughing at the amount of crimpets that this thread has generated! I just bought 2 as well!

ollypollymolly · 19/11/2023 21:20

To all the people moaning about how much it costs. I earn minimum wage, work 16hours a week to fit around my caring responsibilites, I don't get benefits apart from child benefit for 1 child. My list might seem extravagant, but I literally save all year for Christmas presents for my kids&granddaughter, if I can't afford to buy whatever they eant outright then they don't get it, i've never been rich. Just extremely careful with money!
And also no one mentioned a budget so you can post what you want even if it's all from poundland, ideas are what people want not a lecture!

kkr168 · 19/11/2023 21:34

DS20 has asked for a leatherman case & bit kit, we got him the leatherman last year.
The only other thing he has asked for is a meater 2, £119 for a meat thermometer!!! He loves cooking but it's stupidly expensive for something so tiny.
I've already got him a new tracksuit, socks, boxers & toiletries.

DS22 (has IDD) has asked for some new ps5 games, adidas/Nike tracksuits & cinema cards (he goes regularly with family members).
We've got him those plus some sweets/chocs, socks, boxers, toiletries, venom lego (which I'll have to build, good job I quite enjoy it) & an oodie

DS25 has asked for money only
I want to get him a couple of things to open though, maybe I'll order a crimpit too😂
