I have the following on my list for my just turned 17 year old boy - he won't receive it all but they're ideas under consideration! Would love to see your lists

Theragun (this I have bought already - managed to get one for under £100)

Xbox series X (hoping for another price drop)

iPad - his existing one is 5 years old and used daily

Nike Tech tracksuits / Fred Perry hoodie / Ralph Lauren tracksuit / Nike t shirts / Nike dri fit tracksuits

Fiddle cubes + toys

Home made sweets and crisps hamper

Crimpit

Wireless charging is slower than wired I think but whether ordinary mortals would notice or care is another matter. 😁 Autistic DS would though....

Hi all does anyone have a skincare product recommendation for a 13 yr old boy (normal skin) preferably a wash and a moisturiser please and thank you 😊
He hasn’t asked for it but just want to get him into a routine even though I can barely get him to brush his hair.
Do teen boys even do skincare?

Howmanysleepsnow · 03/12/2023 21:25

I’ve bought DS18
gaming monitor
2 hoodies
pants
top
9 pairs of novelty socks (he obsessed!)
gym water bottle
gym membership for the year (£20pcm)
skullcandy earbuds
massage gun (like theragun but £15!)
protien pancake mix (b&m)

Thelifeofawife · 03/12/2023 21:29

@Icantthinkof12024 There was some recommendations on another thread for a company called Gruum. I ordered some products for my DS and he said it’s good and his skin feels better

ChishiyaBat · 03/12/2023 21:50

@Icantthinkof12024 My 15 year old does, he likes nivea men, l'oreal men and bulldog moisturisers. I don't think he's particularly fussy though😂.

jakesmommy · 03/12/2023 23:10

DS 16 is getting:
Lego Star Wars Millennium Falcon set
Lego Star Wars Endor Speeder Chase set
Lego Architecture Statue of Liberty
Crawford and Black 140 piece art set
Crawford and Black 36 piece sketching set
Nintendo Switch Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
LED light bar
Mini Fridge
2x hoodys from Primark
2 x trousers from Primark

Fiddlersgreen · 03/12/2023 23:41

@Howmanysleepsnow do you have a link to £15 massage gun please?

@Icantthinkof12024 my DS17 does, I got him a bulldog set, half price in Tesco, moisturiser, face wash and face scrub, in a cute little wash bag (I mean cool, not cute!)

Howmanysleepsnow · 03/12/2023 23:46

It was on Shein- I searched “leg massager” as my 11yo wanted one. It looked good when it came so ordered an extra for DS18.
I can’t link, but just checked and it’s down to £12.50

Can I see your present lists for older teenage boys please?
ViolaSmart · 04/12/2023 16:34

Be careful with cheap massage guns! We have used a cheap massage gun in the past and recently bought a Renpho one that was £80 and so so so much more effective than the cheap** one.

Iwannaliveinstarshollow · 04/12/2023 17:03

@Icantthinkof12024 my DS14 uses Bulldog moisturiser too. He says his skin feels great with it, particularly post shaving, and the one he has is completely scent free which gets a thumbs-up from him too.

DisruptiveCumin · 05/12/2023 12:25

Cash
Led lights
Fragrance
Skin care
Protein shakes
Protein bars
Good gaming mouse
Software subscription (photo editors or video editors like iMovie for Windows etc)
Headphones
Portable charger
Fancy water bottle

PickleSmith · 05/12/2023 13:59

I really wouldn't buy a cheap massage gun for 15 quid. It's a percussive therapy one that doesn't trick - one for 12:99 is likely to do more harm than good

ny20005 · 05/12/2023 22:10

Loving this thread !

My 17 year old has a job so buys all his own stuff. He's into mma so has asked for MMA gloves & shin pads

I've bought him a vibrating alarm clock as he's a nightmare getting up in the morning. I've added toilet duck loo cleaning brush as a joke as no sooner have I cleaned the bathroom & he's away in & never cleans after himself Confused

He'll love the wrap crimpit & hot sauce key ring.

I've got 15 yr old ds & he's into athletics so he's got tickets for world athletics championships & new training bag.

Got them both battery packs as they seem incapable of leaving the house with a fully charged phone

Both wanted aftershave so managed to go through boots a few weeks ago & get them to sniff testers to give me a hint on ones they'd like. Of course the 15 year old automatically picked the dearest one in the place

Catsfrontbum · 06/12/2023 14:40

Did anyone order a CRIMPIT over the black Friday deals and had it deliverer yet??

Yes, mine arrived though having seen it it wasn't worth it even at 241.

Snooks1971 · 06/12/2023 18:29

@Icantthinkof12024 not a Christmas present but my three teens all use this Indu stuff, it lives in the bathroom and they share the cleanser /moisturiser.

No idea if it’s just a gimmick thing but they seem to like it.

Glad it arrived- I have emailed and messaged on insta but no reply.

Sorry they don’t look like much- hopefully they will perform well and provide some fun lunch/snack opportunities.

FinallyFinalGirl · 06/12/2023 21:23

I ordered the Crimpit two weeks ago and no sign yet,

familyissues12345 · 06/12/2023 22:52

My crimpet arrived today

Seaglass7 · 07/12/2023 06:15

So far have bought DS (17):-

Biscoff gift box (he loves the spread and biscuits)
Trainer wipes
Airpod cleaner
Hair powder
Hoodies and joggers
New PJs

He will be getting money and other bits too so I’ll keep an eye on this thread for more inspiration! Haven’t succumbed to The Crimpet yet! 😆

I had a stroke of genius and bought my two a fragrance advent calendar each. 30 quid but they love them, different spray each day and cheaper than a bottle of aftershave

BertieBotts · 08/12/2023 08:13

Yes mine is currently obsessed with perfume, advent calendar is a good idea! I was looking at those mini gift sets in boots with the miniature versions.

286NeuerNahhhhhhhhmen · 08/12/2023 09:08

I bought crimpits a week or so before Black Friday (still on 241) and they arrived a couple of weeks ago.

Waspie · 08/12/2023 09:11

Some good ideas on here - I have obviously purchased a Crimpit now too!

DS is just 16 and he has got:
Windies cricket balls
Basketball ball
Rugby Ball
Tennis balls (use Xmas to restock on sports balls!)
Adidas track suit bottoms
Warm cotton PJ bottoms
Pants & socks (ubiquitous!)
Lindor chocs
A few paperbacks
Trainer cleaner wipes
Ear pod cleaner (both purchased after reading this thread!)
Long sleeved T-shirts
Jeans
Toiletries
Cash
Tub of Haribo
Basketball match tickets
Alarm clock which also charges his mobile phone

I want to get him a couple of posters too but I've not seen any that I think he would like. If anyone has a good website for posters please post a link Xmas Smile
