Same here with superdry, ds wouldn't wear out but has been gifted a few from family and he wears them in bed in winter.

I thought that too when I first saw it but checked the size with a empty wrap (Tesco own make) and it fitted without much wastage around the edge. When the wrap is filled the wrap circumference will be slightly smaller so it looks it is right size for us. Any larger and it wouldn't crimp all the way around the edges.

The Crimpit does have to be relatively small to do its crimping : )

And it's ok as a little extra gift if you see what I mean? It's won't set the world on fire but it probably has some longevity and will be used

Can anyone recommend a shampoo (or any other products) for a very curly haired teenage boy?
I'm a bit stuck for him and pretty much this whole thread would suit his brother.

Never heard of a crimpit but got totally sucked in by all the mentions so had a look. As they were BOGOF I bought the wraps type for dc1 and 2.

Entered card details and paid...but when the option came up to buy another two for £10 I pressed the wrong button and it updated my order and debited my card again automatically...so now I have four coming 🤦‍♀️

Superdry still a popular option in my household - with the minimal branding. Quality is good too.

Amazon did have Calvin Klein boxers £19ish for 3 but they have gone up in price again

Ds has very long super curly hair. He's a rocker and gets complimented on it all the time. He uses normal shampoo and conditioner anf Tigi Bedhead After Party. It's unfortunately in pink packaging but don't let that put you off.

My ds uses Cantu and Shea Moisture conditioners aswell as Umberto Giannini Curl Jelly for his curly hair.

I’ve shoved the Crimpit packs into a pile of bagged or boxed unwrapped presents in a largely forgotten corner. I absolutely know that in two or three weeks I’ll pick one out of the pile and wonder what the hell it is and what on earth prompted me to order it …

Refused to buy the wrap crimped because shop bought wraps are surely even more of an UPF than plain bread.

The bawbags boxers are great fit too. Lots of rugby themed. This was meant to be a reply to the person who mentioned oddballs boxers!

I thought that Amazon had a better deal so ordered there and then realised I should have ordered direct. Cancelled the amazon order within the hour, but they apparently didn't manage so it was dispatched 2 days later....

Not free returns as they came from the crimpit people themselves, so although it's all just a few quid, I grudge paying to return them.
