I love the fact that the nn of the person who said this to me is @chocolateisavegetable - very apt!

In message two are the links and info from last year - if anyone has anything they'd like me to amend or add, please do tag me and I'll update.

A reminder not to post affiliate links in the thread but that MN do change amazon links shared by posters into MN affiliate links.

Please do watch the thread rather than post to mark place to make it easier for everyone to keep up and find relevant info.

@blackfluffycat You download games from the meta store, if you are cionnecting via a pc you can use STEAM as well I believe, but don't quote me on that.

There is some free content, games from the store look like anywhere from £7.99 upwards, some around £22.99 and big name games around £35ish. There is a referal programme where you both get £23 credit for the referal so effectively a free game.

@psuedocream3 Thanks. I'm not going to bother. I know my kids and the £7.99 stuff won't be good enough and I'll feel bad not getting the £30 odd ones. Thanks x

Has anyone any ideas for my ds school please? He goes to a special school where each child has a 1:1 for them but there are 5 children in his class and as they do things together the other 1:1's obviously help and and talk to all the children, there's his teacher, school ot, school therapist, the TA's from school that pick him up and drop him off and their driver (all employed by school) as well. I asked if they use the staff room with the intention of making a hamper of tea, coffee etc but they eat with the children at lunch and don't really use it.

I'm thinking it'll cost a small fortune to individual gifts but not sure what they could share. Any ideas would be really welcome please.

I made a card and a personalised Lego figure (huge bag of them from AliExpress and sat with DD for an afternoon making them) for each of her nursery workers the year she left. Took ages but we had so much fun doing it. We glued each figure to the card using glue dots and wrote what she loved most about them in the card.

The nursery worker then had the option to donate the Lego figure to the Lego box or take it home

Too late to edit my post. I forgot the key information that it's at Asda!!

@PurpleSkittle thanks so much. I ordered one with my shopping last night but have now made a new order using Quidco (so far it is tracked) and amended my other order. Just hope it arrives tonight!

whoknows1230 · 17/11/2023 11:35

Thank you! I’ve just ordered it - great price!

redjoker · 17/11/2023 11:38

@Dreamingofwalden mine has just updated and tracked the 6.75%, just waiting on them to confirm the £10 now. Quidco are so slow compared to top cashback

Gustavo1 · 17/11/2023 11:47

My letters to Santa book was marked delivered but didn’t arrive. I’ve got a refund but the price is now astronomical! If anyone sees it come down, please do tag me!

usernotfound0000 · 17/11/2023 11:48

We were in 2 minds about the Meta quest for DD. But found a promotion for selected accounts, mine was eligible, and I got £30 off plus the £50 gift card. This is the link

Breadhead1 · 17/11/2023 11:53

If anyone has Just Dance 2024 on their list it's down to half price on Amazon.

I'm after an Amazon Echo Speaker for my husbands present, it's 25% off today for Black Friday but I was hoping for more! Should I hold my nerve or order today?

@PolarStar Does this help:

Apparently Amazon have said, "If you purchase a product with the Black Friday Deal badge sold by Amazon from 17-27 November and the price drops further before 23:59 GMT on December 4, we'll automatically refund the difference! We’ll email you when we process your refund."

Helpful reminder for anyone purchasing any items on Amazon this week, if there is a BF deal badge on item page, it might be best to screenshot in case of it being disputed later.

PolarStar · 17/11/2023 11:57

@butterflymum thank you! This is so helpful.

Callipygion · 17/11/2023 12:02

I’ve had a mailing from Lands’ End with a code for 50% off Men’s full price styles. I think it’s a one use only, so if anyone would like it let me know. Expires 27th Nov.

mummymilkfloat · 17/11/2023 12:05

Just been into Tesco, they had 20 inch squishmallows reduced from £50 to £35, not many options left

psuedocream3 · 17/11/2023 12:28

@usernotfound0000 oh thanks, just remembered I had a 15% off electronics voucher and it's taken £37.35 off making it £211.65. £161.65 after £50 amazon gift card is a huge bargain. I was going to wait and see if my husband buys one but it is returnable until end of January so I'm sold!

usernotfound0000 · 17/11/2023 12:39

You're welcome @psuedocream3. I was swaying towards getting it with the £50 gift card but the extra £30 made my mind up! I also remembered I had £175 in my Topcashback account so it was practically free :)

PurpleSkittle · 17/11/2023 13:06

Got my fingers crossed for it to track properly for you @Dreamingofwalden and @redjoker 🤞

Seamist22 · 17/11/2023 13:12

Discounts on shark hairdryers and stylers on their website.

Claramay78 · 17/11/2023 13:45

Any offers on £15 gift cards for teens? Thanks

recklessgran · 17/11/2023 13:49

OSPREY London have a good sale on - there's some lovely boxed scarves good for grannies/mums.

lazysundaymorningcoffee · 17/11/2023 13:58

There are some decent 'special prices' on selected items at mint velvet. A dress my mom tried on last week in John Lewis which was £139 has been reduced down to £85. Free delivery on orders over £100 and free returns.

Apols - the referral code is for £10 off I think but more info on the other board.

Hello! This sounds good ... I'm being a bit thick but which board is it exactly I'll find the referral? Also I've noticed to try and stack both it asks for the full name for referral (which I doubt anyone would post, quite sensibly too) then a code for the % off?

StormySam · 17/11/2023 14:01
