is there anyone that hasn’t started Christmas shopping yet?

Yeah, me. Really should make a start tbh.

Me. I don't have too much to get though.

Me! And I’ve got loads to get! I have made a list though. I’m good at lists - just not so good at getting on with the job! 😂

Me. I only buy for my own DC* and it’s just been DC1’s birthday so I will take a breather before Christmas, at the moment she has just had everything she wanted anyway.

*Whole family has a no adult presents pact, there are no other DC on my side and DH sorts gifts (with a bit of nudging/ideas help) for the few DC on his side.

I haven't, and at the moment I can't be bothered

Started today. Suddenly had a panic 😂

Me. Have cut fiwn massively non the amount of people I buy for. Preparing for retirement

I've only bought 3 things, need to get a move on

I don't understand have none of you even bought so much as a snowball or a Christmas pud ? I couldn't imagine having to do all Christmas shopping all at once , I'd rather bang my head on a brick wall . You must all have a nerves of steel .

Only me to think.about about 6 presents to buy- massive reduction. I do as I please.

No I haven’t bought any presents yet, it’s only November 12th. No need to panic whatsoever. I have been writing a list of presents to buy over the last few weeks so I have done some planning, but honestly, it’s six weeks away yet!

Me. I can't bear thinking about it till about a month before.

I started on Thursday. 14 down, 35 to go….
Am panicking slightly after a £700 vet bill last month. Normally I’d be nearly done by now!

Me. We all have November / early December birthdays so no one wants to think about it much before then. Plus it’s stressful so i put it off. Obviously it would be better to do it more in advance but it seems that’s not how my brain works. Nobody has any idea what they’d like for presents! We know where we’ll be for Xmas though and we have actually booked a food delivery.

Me. Not feeling it this year.

I've bought no food or extra alcohol. I don't host so it's just the 2 of us and we will have something very non traditional.
I buy for 3 people and that is actually done. I send no cards, just put a tree up...no other decorations. It's very liberating!!!
We have a busy December...away for a weekend,2 gigs, meals out and Xmas Eve day drinking.

Me. I have absolutely no idea what the plan will be for the day either. None of our parents or siblings have mentioned it so I'm keeping my head down...!

I never get anything before mid December. Little grandsons seem to have everything they could possibly have time to play with, and one has a December birthday. Adults just little little bits and a gift card.

Yeah me. The OH and his family are getting on my tits, so it's coal for them I reckon. They can share a tin of cinders.

Me, my dh has it sorted though. He's a good egg

Me - got a list of ideas on my phone - have teens though and a husband who doesnt like stuff

I've got dd2 and her girlfriend their main present
A couple of things for other two dd's stockings that I've had a while but put away but that's it.
Normally I'd have loads but not going silly this year at all.
Dh and I have a date in the diary to go shopping together and will get bits then and dd3 and I are going next Saturday but I can't really get too worried about it this year .
Less of everything feels much better than spending for the sake of it.

Of course not, it’s November. And we’re being more environmentally conscious this year and doing secret Santa / experience gifts, so nice and easy.
