Trespass 5.99 bargain thread

Just popping this here for anyone to drop a message about their order to avoid clogging up the bargain thread. Whether they've received their bargains or had orders cancelled etc.

I've bought a coat and snow boots via amazon with delivery expected on Tuesday. No sign of a cancellation email yet!

Mine are already in dispute but it’s changed nothing. eBay cancelled items are tricky to leave feedback on, but there is a way. Posted further back.

You can open a dispute on eBay if the order has been neither dispatched nor cancelled. eBay will then sort the refund for you.

Edited to add: I think seller needs to also have not responded to messaging.

Unfortunately it’s clear from the major threads on HUKD that not one single item has been received. Trespass cancelled most, if not all, of the Amazon orders. They started off by cancelling the eBay orders, claiming that the buyers cancelled, but now seem to be just sitting on the money expecting buyers to cancel themselves. No explanations, no apologies and a large unreturned cash pile.

Shabby treatment by Trespass all round, and as soon as the 7 days is up for negative feedback to be left, we’ll be adding ours.

I wonder if eBay have stopped them cancelling the transactions at the moment. Trespass has been cancelling orders stating that the buyer has requested to cancel, this is a way for them to not pay eBay seller fees on sold items. EBay won’t take kindly to that.

The 7 days wait to leave negative feedback is up this morning, people have already started to negative feedback them…

I checked out as a guest so contacted eBay customer services last night. They've opened a dispute for me so will see how that goes.

I have now raised a not yet received query on eBay on my outstanding order, so that I could send them a message. I expect I will be refunded but did not like that they chose to say I'd cancelled the first one! I'm sure there's an option to cancel if there's a problem with the item ... they should have used that!

Still no word on my order. I no longer feel bad as their management has been abysmal and have just left two negative reviews.

Negative reviews left on eBay and Trustpilot in the absence of the items ordered, refunds or indeed any explanation, apology or response from Trespass. They’ve gone completely to ground like cheap con merchants.

None for me either - I'm sending messages to them asking for an update - if they'd just say they'd messed up and be honest I'd accept that
But the just doing nothing is really irritating now

I'm able to ask eBay for a refund tomorrow evening as Trespass haven't acknowledged the case against them. As others have said yes it's cheeky to try and get something through a glitch but you do expect the cancellation, however not even responding is questionable activity from a company as big as Trespass. I wonder how many people will have bought the odd item and just think it's not worth the hassle for a £6 refund?

I've reached the conclusion now that this is just downright theft or fraud by Trespass. They've had the money, they've done nothing whatsoever about fulfilling the purchases, and what's even worse is that they've made no attempt whatsoever to refund the money they've effectively stolen. And not a word of explanation or apology from Trespass. OK, you can get it back from eBay, but that shouldn't be necessary.

I said early on in all this that I felt leaving negative reviews was a shame. I've totally changed my mind. Like others, I've had no communication and no refund for my items.

I used to work for an outdoors company and I put myself in Trespass' shoes initially. I imagined how overwhelmed they must have been. However, the company I worked for would have communicated honestly with the customers, probably put a statement out and something on their website / ebay storefront apologising. Trespass couldn't give a fuck.

I'll never touch Trespass again. To be fair, it's a crap brand anyway and I was only interested as wellies / snowboots for £5.99 seemed a bargain. They use that sales tactic of pretending something is a much higher RRP ("80% off" constantly) and I've never liked it.

I started the ebay intervention process 2 days ago so hopefully get refunded soon.

Had an email overnight saying my case was still open did I want to ask Ebay for help. So have escalated it and said no communication at all from seller and no item. Can't imagine Ebay will take too kindly to having to refund potentially thousands of customers and then trying to claim it back from Trespass.
