Trespass 5.99 bargain thread

Just popping this here for anyone to drop a message about their order to avoid clogging up the bargain thread. Whether they've received their bargains or had orders cancelled etc.

I've bought a coat and snow boots via amazon with delivery expected on Tuesday. No sign of a cancellation email yet!

I ordered a pair of snow boots through Ebay just before the prices all changed. Fingers crossed, but the listing said something ridiculous like "Hot! 300+ ordered in the last 24 hours"...

I ordered via eBay and made 3 separate purchases. I got confirmation emails for each and a delivery date of Tuesday or Wednesday.

First was walking trainers for the kids (thinking instead of wellies for winter walks).
Second was waterproof jacket for dh and a next size up coat for ds (he has 4-5 from last year but got 5-6 - may need it this year or will put away for next if not).
Third - a waterproof for me 😂

I can't see the majority being honoured sadly. Especially when you see the numbers saying how many sold in last 24 hours and that the majority are now all back up in price. I reckon Monday morning when their tech team are back in work the cancellations will start

I ordered 2 things (both gifts) one I ordered still shows as 5.99 (it's a shirt) so that will probably be ok. Don't hold out much hope for the coat which was the main purchase

I ordered a couple of jackets and a pair of boots. I don’t expect the orders to come through but time will tell. ETA Tuesday. I really think there will be cancellation emailed on Monday.

I ordered 4 coats... but I'm actually feeling quite guilty. One of the kids coats says almost 4000 coats sold in the last 24 hours. I wouldn't want to ruin a company just for the sake of a few bargains for myself Confused

I think the fact it now says that the seller is away until Monday means that the orders will be reviewed then and likely cancelled. Shame, as I wasn't trying to snatch and grab, I just ordered a coat for each of my boys. It's the people that go and order 30 coats to resell who spoil it imo.

Exactly. It's greed that causes more issues. I was hopeful as I had just ordered a few things that I need for me and DC. I certainly wouldn't have bought a coat for me without the deal. I await the refund from paypal and cancellation.

If it was my company and we really couldn't honour all the sales, I would put a positive spin on it and try to take the middle ground.. Eg. We cannot honour all the sales without serious consequences for our business but we will honour as many as we can (eg the earliest x% of sales) because we know we made a mistake and have a duty to our customers.

I don't feel guilty. I ordered one coat and they have the ability to cancel if necessary.

If I'd ordered a warehouse load to sell on, that would be different!

Some people went mad by the looks, buying loads of tents and camping chairs etc. That's the trouble when people get greedy. When this happened with Under Armour a few years back some slipped through the net, I remember my other half received his tshirt but I didn't get any of my stuff.

In answer to another question Hot Deals is just that, a website or app where you can view bargains that people find. I've found it v handy.
