Trespass 5.99 bargain thread

Just popping this here for anyone to drop a message about their order to avoid clogging up the bargain thread. Whether they've received their bargains or had orders cancelled etc.

I've bought a coat and snow boots via amazon with delivery expected on Tuesday. No sign of a cancellation email yet!

Yes the negative reviews are a bit much
As you say, you take a chance. Majority will have known the prices were wrong at time of ordering

I am not sure any items sold by trespass are that thrilling that a child will be disappointed......

Yeah, I was more thinking about the selling platforms’ own rules about cancelled orders having an affect on their seller dashboard ratings/rankings etc.

I didn’t order anything so I’ve got no skin in the game.

Poor trespass. Can imagine the scenes at hq. Huge influx of orders, terrifying margin drop, PR nightmare trying to frame their response to the drama, huge cancellation/communication/refund admin exercise, loads of work to give people their money back and get bad reviews…

laughed at previous comment about kids not being upset at the loss. My plain navy blue fleeeeece!

God some folk are proper twats leaving negative reviews. I ordered some wellies and snowboots. Knew there was slim to little chance of getting them, but it wouldn't occur to me to slag them off for it.

Also pmsl at the kids being disappointed. Tresspass is possibly the most boring stuff in the world and I didn't tell my DD in advance about the snowboots knowing they likely wouldn't arrive anyway.

Some suggestions elsewhere that Trespass have done this before. Anyone remember that? These things almost invariably end up with cancellations (that Ninja deal apart) and a mistake is just a mistake. Not if it’s repeated though.

I haven't had any official cancellation, but when I click view my order on the email confirmation it takes me to a page not found link on eBay

It seems that Trespass have automatically given people Ebay feedback. I'm a 5 star customer, apparently

Is that to pre-empt any negative feedback people might leave when the orders are cancelled do you think?

They were probably impressed at the speed at which people paid, trying to get their orders through before the prices went back up

I had put a large order in through ebay Friday evening, today ive been having cancellation emails this afternoon with no reason as to why!! So now I'm waiting a few days for my refunds! There are still 5 active so we shall see. I have read on another post something similar happened this time last year and was just a gimmick to get people to look on their website??

I ordered 4 things from EBay no feedback no cancellation email should I have my hopes up?!

Still no cancellation email either. I would have sympathy if Trespass were to act decisively and have cancelled all orders by Monday morning and issued refunds. Yet they haven't yet - and they are still holding on to the funds paid to them. They need to act soon to avoid an onslaught of negative publicity, even if this was a glitch that people jumped on.

I ordered one jacket. Not dispatched yet but no cancellation yet either.

I think they must have thousands upon thousands of orders to go through. Apparantly the Ebay cancellation ones are going through as 'buyer requested cancellation' so that it won't affect their rating.

I've had one transaction leave the bank and one still sitting on pending so will be interesting to see which one comes back to me first once they get cancelled

From a read through of other threads on this online it sounds like the Amazon cancellations started rolling out earlier, but Ebay orders are being steadily cancelled too. Mine isn't cancelled yet, but I'll only get my hopes up if it changes to 'dispatched'

Some people are getting in a bit of a froth because apparently the Ebay cancellations are saying something like 'cancelled by buyer', presumably to spare Trespass any negativity. The alternative is probably Tresspass going bust by flogging half their winter stock dirt cheap, though...

I ordered a coat for me and my daughter and 2 padded tresspass chairs x coat delivery's meant to be today [26/09/23] but it hasn't been dispatched on amazon so I'm not holding much hope to be honest, although I do need a coat as mine is faded where I left it on the washing line for too long 🙈🤦‍♀️

I wasn’t planning to leave negative feedback, but I am now - given that they’re trying to avoid eBay fees by claiming that the buyers cancelled. Fiddly to leave feedback after a cancellation, but it’s doable.

Yup only ordered two coats for myself (needed for winter dog walks), men’s fleece and snow boots. All still say preparing for delivery with due date of delivery today. I’m presuming Trespass is hoping Amazon customers cancel the orders themselves and therefore they avoid issues with Amazon.

Should have added it says delivery estimate is today but that's looking unlikely!

My eBay account still says yet to be dispatched, but delivery is supposedly today/tomorrow. Who knows!!
