Food that is not Christmas food but that you only eat at Christmas

So not your typical Christmas pudding, mince pies etc but what other things do you only eat at Christmas? I’ve just had a double decker bar from a selection box and it was so delicious it’s made me wonder why I never buy them throughout the year, but always eat one at Christmas!

I have also spent the last few days working my way through a big bag of honey roasted cashew nuts - so good! But only really ‘allowed’ at Christmas according to the weird rules about Christmas food I seem to have made up in my head for no apparent reason . Any others to add to the list?

Cranberry stuffing with the roast dinner

Red cabbage
Sausage rolls

Boursin.
Christmas night with crackers then the remainder on Boxing Day. It’s the only time I ever eat it.

It went up from £1.50 to £2.20 in the week between me looking at it and then adding it to my delivery!

Carrot mash with parsley and garlic butter. I always make it as a side at Christmas and wonder why I never make it any other time, given it's not difficult or expensive!

Dying to know what dog cheese is though as ours just eats our normal Cheddar for me & edam for DH.

Dates & figs. IDK why, I bloody love them. I've mostly given up added sugar (including totally giving up chocolate) over the last few months, I might buy them more often.

I also only buy real butter at Christmas! And marmalade as well - I only really eat toast at this time of year!
